Your advice for President Trump

A few thoughts that might improve Trump's behavior and approval ratings.

Think before you speak. All too often the President makes a fool of himself when speaking in public. If you can't rationally organize your thoughts before speaking, then remain quiet.

Knock off the tweets, period.

Stop making up information. Research what you're going to say and if you're unsure about facts, don't make ridiculous and self serving claims.

Listen to your advisers. Being President of the United States is quite a bit different than being some wealthy clown on The Apprentice or running the Trump Organization. We're a country, not a business.

Be respectful. Even though you may not like someone, that's no excuse for being boorish and rude.

What are your thoughts about our Dear Leader's behavior?

I actually agree with this one. His twitter rants just add fuel to the fire for the left and he does not need them anyways.

Still I am not sure what advice Trump needs. He is doing a good job with a few minor mistakes.

 

Thanks for the laugh. Oh...a good job at what?? reality is none of his main agenda have been completed. Jobs are not coming back because of any of his policies. The travel "ban" is nothing but smoke and mirrors and have been blocked by the courts. No wall. Hillary isn't in jail. No wonderful health care for everyone. No budget. NK is still messing around. China isn't declared a "currency manipulator." His inner circle is in chaos.

Stalling? Why the **** should he?

 

Shift talking about personal injustices you have suffered and highlight your accomplishments. Put behind the election and stop talking about the size of your inauguration crowd. Not everything is about you after all. If you need to talk about injustices, highlight (in detail) how your voters have suffered as a result of Democratic policies and then point out what you have already done to make life better for them.

In fact, I'll help you a bit: The unemployment rate remains low. You saved a handful of jobs here and there (what was the name of that company that did not ship hundreds of jobs overseas that he made a deal with?). That's a start. More of this please.

Foreign policy is still a work in progress and in wait and see mode. No credit given here just yet.

As a progressive, that's the best advice and compliments I can give.

 

Sorry. I think you well covered most if not all of it. Or...maybe be careful who you pick for an "adviser." It might well come back to bite you.

 

1. Stop trying to lower taxes for the rich, and focus first on lowering the deficit and then cutting taxes for the middle class and small businesses.
2. Stop trying to raise military spending and spend a crazy amount of infrastructure and again, fix the deficit.
3. Stop trying to take away healthcare from the poor, and actually fix healthcare. This will save us 1-2 trillion.
4. Please continue cutting the massive number of useless government programs and regulations.
5. Please continue the fight to deport illegals, stop illegal immigration, and make sure that only the best get in.
6. Stop cutting alternative energy and ignoring climate change and embrace the future and fight to prevent more warming.
7. Stop angering our allies and rekindling conflict with our enemies. Please, no war with North Korea, nobody wants war, and lets work together with our allies.
8. Stop hiring these incompetent GOP politicians in executive posts, and hire the best and most qualified like you promised.
9. Please stop the ranting and close your twitter feed. Please talk and act like an adult.
10. Please stop doing things that are or are close to being illegal. Be honest with the American people.
11. Stop trying to take away the regulations on wall street preventing another crash and work to make America great for actual Americans not your friends in Wall Street.
12. Stop constantly exaggerating and lying and call it like it is. People like it when you do it but please be an adult about it. Also stop blaming all your problems on the press. I am so sick of it.

 

Why not? The IRS has said that Trump is free to release his tax returns. Every President since Carter has released their tax returns.

Trump has been acting the same way for decades.

 

He's doing a great job so far.

All I can add is hurry up on the wall and deport the dreamers too.

 

3 pieces of advice.

1. Have your communications director review all tweets before they are sent. Not exactly for approval, but to make sure the communications staff knows how to react to it.

2. Ditch the middle East. Nothing there is worth the money or American lives

3. Dump the current health insurance bill and push for a bipartisan one. Don't make the same mistake the dems did when they made massive changes to massive industries while listening to no one but themselves.

 

1. Trump's tweets get in the way of his brain and are for the moment, so that suggestion will not work.


2. If we ditch the Middle East, we will be left with a nest of terrorist states without a buffer, hell bent on destroying us.


3. By dumping Obama Care only because Trump does not want Obama to get credit for anything, the repubs are costing the
American taxpayers millions of dollars while they go through their gyrations. Obama Care is already in place as the law, so
it can be fixed without these gyrations, and Congress can get it on with other important policy decisions.

 

Don't bend over and pick up the soap when in prison.

 

What you have written indicates to me that Trump is the wrong person for the job, because he has some mental disabilities. If this is true, then be afraid. Be very afraid.

 

I would say get off is lazy fat arse and actually GOVERN the country but that is a worse proposition given his seemingly limited ability to think past his own self interests

 

Ignore the annoying noises the democrats and their propaganda outlets are making and press on with your agenda.

Identify those republicans who are impeding your progress, and call them out, publicly.

Laser focus on doing what you were elected to do, and get it done.

 

Build the wall, even if you have to invest your own money, keep an eye on neocons - not to be trusted.

Continue tweeting, that's the best weapon you have to get in touch with the base. Your tweets drive libertards and leftists crazy.

My advice is tweet non stop. If the plan is to impeach Trump for no crime then tweet away 24/7, make the MSM heads explode in the process.

 

Trump won -- why should he change. Lots of people want him to change and this is just their subtle way of saying be like Hillary. Ha. When your team wins the Super Bowl you don't start the next season with a rookie QB. Go Trump -- Make America Great Again. Trump is doing just fine, it's the MSM that needs to change.

This was really an excellent post. Thank you. I agree with everything you said here, and it's the same advice I would give him.

But I would have to add something. He needs to disassociate himself from Steve Bannon particularly, and also Steve Miller. Those two I think are really hurting rather than helping him.
