Captain America. No, not because I'm patriotic. (I am fairly patriotic, but that's not why I like Captain America). He doesn't really have any superpowers, yet he routinely battles -and emerges victorious against- those that do (seemingly by shear force of will) and is thusly considered a superhero anyway. Sure he's fast and tough and strong and smart, but still at peak human levels, not inhuman ones. He doesn't shoot lasers from his eyes, squish people with his mind or fly, and a bullet could kill him if he were without body armor or sheild. Plus, in the old comics, while everyone else had jets and hovercars and spaceships, he drove a van ...that could change colors. Close seconds to Batman and The Punisher for the same reasons, though Batman is infinitely wealthy which might as well be a superpower, and The Punisher isn't exactly a 'hero.'
As a kid, Superman/Batman As a teenager Hulk/Wolverine Now probably Sandman/Lucifer. Though not really superheros they are comic series I constantly return to. Moviewise? Hellboy! Cant wait for the new one.
My favourite is Captain Marvel... to me she just looks super cool... must be the part where she bashes the old lady jk
Of course Cap does have superhuman strength and can take orders of magnitude more punishment and still keep coming. Always liked him especially because he was a pal of my favorite comic book heroes growing up - Sgt. Fury and the Howling Commandos. My favorite superhero today has to be Deadpool. Funniest mean mofo around.
The supersoldier serum that made Cap what he is increased his abilities to the peak of theoretical human efficiency. So while he is indeed stronger, faster, etc than any human, he's not technically superhuman. Though apparently there was an 'ultimate' version of Cap that was further enhanced beyond theoretical human ability. I find deadpool funny about half the time, and incredibly cliche the other half. But thats prolly just me...
V from V for Vendetta. Raises interesting thoughts on politics to chew on. Also like the idea where the villain is the government. A close second would be Batman only because his villains are the most colorful and interesting.
Batman see The Dark Knight Returns and The Killing Joke for reference. Truly awesome both comic book and cartoon. Modern superhero movies suck balls except for deadpool (Not seen 2) and Logan. Obviously the Nolan Trilogy was great and peaked with the 2nd one remind you of another trilogy by any chance? Looking forward to Joker. I'm 41 I don't want to watch kids Movies anymore.
Jesus rose from the dead. That's pretty impressive. Changing water into wine wasn't bad, either (especially if it was Saint Emilion).
Batman is just badass, especially when played by Robocop. “You don't get it boy... this isn't a mudhole... its an operating table. (KRAKKKKK) And I'm the surgeon.”
Well, a tunic is close. Judas was sort of a "sidekick" and probably thought it was funny that he was offered so little money for such a major personality. I'm going to stick with the "Naz", what with walking on water and all.
