I know from experience here that if I say just about anything, someone will pop up to negate and denigrate and dismiss. So I'm just going to put this here.... BTW, I was able to watch the entire 2 hours of this video without paying $2, but I will tell you that if you're not so fortunate, you need to shell out the $2 because it is much more than worth it!

Oh, this was Steven Greer's big witness testimony. I've heard about it, but I never watched it before. Nice!

There are well funded scientists all over the world totally dedicated to searching for ET. In fact, it's a mission of NASA.

Yet, this one guy has not managed to convince anyone in that huge community.

How about waiting until your guy manages to convince a credible scientist who actually studies this stuff?

Which "one guy"? How much of the video did you watch? Any?

Could you give us an intro or synopsis on what exactly is in that video? Please?

Yeah, it's high-quality personally witnessed evidence of UFOs and some of their crew members, given by a dozen or so military brass and experts, and top commanders of key military operations. These are people who reported to the President and who would be the ones to know the facts if anyone does. This video is well beyond any justifiable contempt as we see already in this thread.

Thank you, much appreciated. The title of the thread had me wondering, I thought it was about a new discovery about energy at CERN or in a physics lab somewhere.

The video is really worth watching to see the abundance of high quality evidence. One thing they talk about is that several UFOs have crashed over the years going back to 1947 and that teams of engineers and physicists have reverse-engineered the drive systems and other mechanics of the crafts, and they say they understand it all and can build, or have built, working models. They said the propulsion of based on what they call "zero-point energy" which is the origin and basis of every other form of energy there is including gravity. And they way when it is developed it will replace all our existing forms of energy with limitless, clean, safe energy that will fundamentally transform the world. And there is much, much more. Take the time to watch it.

I wouldn't say it's the source of all energy, but it's tied together in ways we don't fully understand.

Also, I am highly skeptical about any claims of harvesting usable energy from zero-point energy.
(Although on the most basic theoretical level it is hypothetically possible)

The vast majority of "experts" who talk about "zero-point energy" are pseudoscience quacks.

Can you summarize for us in two paragraphs what's in that video?

Physics currently lacks a full theoretical model for understanding zero-point energy.
According to quantum field theory, the universe can be thought of not as isolated particles but continuous fluctuating fields: matter fields, whose quanta are fermions (i.e., leptons and quarks), and force fields, whose quanta are bosons (e.g., photons and gluons). All these fields have zero-point energy. Physicists Richard Feynman and John Wheeler calculated the zero-point radiation of the vacuum to be an order of magnitude greater than nuclear energy, with a single light bulb containing enough energy to boil all the world's oceans.

Sorry - i'm absolutely NOT going to pay for stuff like that.

I wouldn't pay for other science articles of that nature, either. I would not have paid for the reports of hydrochloroquine testing, for example.

It just is not advisable to see these initial and wholly unverified results as more than of mild general interest. Science has a methodology. Shortcuts almost always go to the round file.

Did you click on it to TRY to watch? I said in the OP that when I clicked on it, it ran the entire 2 hours and I didn't pay anything. In fact, just now I clicked on "Watch the Trailer" and could watch any and all of it. You didn't try, did you?

Mods, please move this to the Conspiracy section. I think it's the most appropriate place for it. This shouldn't be in "Science."

No. YOU CANNOT MAKE THAT ASSESSMENT WITHOUT WATCHING IT. And if you watched it, you would know it is definitely NOT a conspiracy theory.

A plea to watch my two hour video, it will prove EVERYTHING, I swear, is practically how almost every conspiracy thread starts. So no, I don't have to watch it. The fact that it's a video and not a news article is proof enough.

Do I need to go through this forum, thread by thread, and show you all the posts that are videos and not "news articles"?

Why does this subject scare you so much?

    2001?

The lid was blown off the UFOs 19 years ago?

Weird that I missed a huge, big honking deal like that.

Oh well, maybe they'll actually have something big enough to actually grab my attention in another 19 years.

    I'll check back in 2039.

    Smell ya then.

So you admit that you know NOTHING about the actual video but just guess about it and called for moderator action on the basis of you guesswork. You've never impressed me much and this downgrades you further.
