Nope, he merely needs to assert he acted in seld defense. Prosecution has the burden of proof to show, BEYOND a reasonable doubt that he did not act in self defense.

Yes I am PREDICTING civil disobedience if Zimmerman is acquitted etc, the black leaders were calling for civil disobedience if he was not arrested, and the little piggies did what the big pig wanted. Before someone tries to call me a racist or animal abuser they can substitute pigs for ducks and duckies whichever you like.

So if a jury is not swayed by Al and Jessies and even the New Black Panthers* threats the way the DA including the biggest DA in the land and other authorities were and the jury does not convict, or a mistrial is declared or the charges are dismissed, yep, I would almost guarantee riots and or civil disobedience by primarily blacks/and racists of many colors. If I were the authorities I would not arrest anyone unless the rule of law demanded it regardless of the threats by leaders of group. I would also begin preparing now for the threat of disobedience.

FYI A few picked at random from before Zim was arrested. If no arrest was a good reason to roit an acquittal or mistrial will be a far better reason to snatch a tv ;

They wanted an investigation and due process.. There won't be any riots. The NBP are noisy but unimportant .. and in no way represent the black community.

The problem is the Stand Your Ground Law.. which nobody understands and has been a nightmare for law enforcement wherever its law..
