Why? Prosecutors and defense attorneys can discriminate with their peremptory challenges during voire dire for ANYTHING....except race. That's necessarily a prejudicial process, and an integral part of jury trials.
It there anything showing that claim is actually accurate? It's easy for someone to say something in an interview that is, intentionally or not, untrue or misleading.
If I were a prosecutor I would have made the same choice. FOX news, like all those news channels, takes sides, and we all know what side FOX news takes in this case. Honestly, someone who admitted to watching any of those cable news channels on a regular basis should have been dismissed.
Using that logic, then anyone who watched NBC News should have been dismissed since NBC altered tapes to make it look like Zimmerman was a racist. And probably anyone who watches MSNBC should have been dismissed as well.
Which is why I said that anyone who watches those cable news channels should have been dismissed. They all spin and distort, FOX just does it for a different set of viewers than MSNBC.
