There are eye witnesses, as well as forensic evidence. Plenty of evidence to consider, and they found no cracks in GZ's testimony.

Zimmerman was a full grown adult male, I really do have a hard time believing he was really in fear of his life from Martin.

Who says it should? There is a difference between a fist fight and smashing someone's head into a sidewalk. If someone was smashing my head into concrete, I would most certainly shoot them.
Zimmerman should have had a harder time making that arguemnt. if Z was 80 and a kid attacked him great, fire away, a reasonable man would believe he was in fear of his life, at 80. At 35 or whatever the Z man was, and he was healthy and was truly capable of defending himself, not so much. Not to mention the fact that he intentionally put himself in that position by getting out of his SUV. Like I said, I just beleive he is lucky to not be in jail.
Age has little to do with it. It does not matter how old you are or how old they are if someone is smashing your head into concrete.
Dont twist, it is not age it is abilty. I even used 80 vs 35 to make that clear. If you are 80 and incapable of defending yourself, it is much eaiser to come to the conclusion you have to shoot the kid. If you are capable of defending yourself without killing the kid it is the gunowners repsonsiblity to do so.
