Why would I cry? I am a Bears fan, I am just saying what I saw, and what I saw was 2 evenly matched teams, that were separated yesterday by luck. That is what usually determines games between evenly matched teams.

Congratulations to the Giants. They made the plays they needed to win the game. That being said, I didn't see anything in that game that indicated to me that the Giants are clearly a superior team. It was a close game and could have gone either way up until the end.

The Patriots haters can go suck eggs!!!

Thank you for demonstrating the difference between a Giants/football fan and a jealous Patriot hater. :-D

You mean the New England Cheaters?

It's the most reviled team in the NFL, and for good reason.

    Jealous of what?

They've lost the past two Super Bowls they've been in, they're living off of past glory.

See what happens when you can't cheat?

The Giants beat the Pats twice this year.

So, what you are saying is that those two games were irrelavent in deciding which team was better.

Did you hear what Brady's wife said????

WOW!!! He better explain to her, how blaming teammates goes....lol. I can't. Elieve she said that out loud. I am pretty sure it wasnt the receivers fault Tom through a 50 yard pick....lol.

Or how about that intentional grounding for a safety??? Was that Tom's fault Gazelle???

Go look at the QB stats from yesterday, and tell me defense won that game!! On top of that, both the Giants and Pats had 2 of the worst defenses in the league this season, and yet they were the Super Bowl teams.... :confuse:

PS. Green Bay won the Super Bowl last year, in case you missed it.

That drop by welker decided that game. If catches that ball, the Patriots are clear favorites to win. If Hernandez cathces the ball on the very next play, it would have made a big difference. If Branch or Hernandez caught the ball on the last drive, same thing. Brady can only do his job, it is a team game. Both QBs were excellent yesterday, the difference was the Giant's receivers made the plays in crunch time, and the Patriots receivers did not.

Give it a rest already. The Patriots were caught taping the other team's sidelines from their own sideline. They were fined and lost a first round draft pick. The notion that this is something that no other teams were doing and that it was the deciding factor in the Patriot's success is laughably juvenile and only further serves the notion that you are a Patriot hater.

Since the sideline taping incident, which was blown out of proportion by Arlen Specter in an attempt to reward his two largest donors, Comcast and the law firm representing Comcast, which were in negotiations with the NFL for carriage of the NFL network, the Patriots have won two AFC Championships, set the league record for most prolific scoring offense ever, Tom Brady has set the record for most TD's in a season by a QB, Randy Moss broke the WR TD record, Tom Brady has surpassed Dan Marino's 25 year record for most yards in a season, Rob Gronkowski set the record for most TD's by a TE in a season and most TD's by a rookie TE in a season, and they have missed the playoffs once, at 11-5, because the NFC was THAT horrible that year.

Haters keep on hating, because they really know, deep down, that they wish their team was anything close to the Patriots organization.

With two first round pick and two second round picks, as well as a very young and talent laden roster, the Patriots will be arousing your unreasonable hatred for quite some time.

Feel free to commence egg sucking. :-D

Bradsaw was 4-0 in Superbowls and won two MVP awards....He was a far superior player compared to Brady. His toughness and running skills were legendary. Brady is a sissy in comparison to Terry and the other greats...

    That would explain a lot...

Of course, we all know there is no signal stealing, or any other kind of rules breaking in Major League Baseball...*cough* steroids *cough*

Seriously, though, I already determined you to be a Patriots hater and not a football fan...

LOL, his teams were roided the eff up and there was no salary cap, so Terry Bradshaw was allowed to play with basically the exact same team his whole career.

Brady is anything but a sissy. It's absurd to claim Terry Bradshaw was "far superior" to him.

I really don't understand all the Brady and Patriots haters out there. Does your team really suck that bad that you have to hate on the undeniably best QB of modern era?

As I said, it is best not to comment, when you don't have a clue of what you are talking about!!!

    Go look at this.

    http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BradTe00.htm

His best ever seasonal QB rating was 88.0. His career touchdown to interception ratio is 212-210.

Now compare to Brady. His best seasonal rating was 117.2. Pretty significantly better than Bradshaw. And it all can't just be chalked up to era either, as other QBs from Bradshaws era were far more effective. Then look at Brady's touchdown to interception ratio of 300-115 as opposed to 212-210. :giggle: They aren't even from the same planet. There isn't even a comparison to be made, and I know that if you asked Terry Bradshaw himself, he would tell you the exact same thing. He would be shocked by the question of course, because he would assume only a moron would think the comparison was legitimate, let alone to think Bradshaw was better!! This is the one I like the best, other than the touchdown to interception ratio. Brady has a career passer rating of 96.4. Bradshaw's rating was 70.9!! :giggle: He is only better in backwards world where good is bad, and bad is good!!

In all honesty, losing the Superbowl was disappointing, but the Patriots weren't even a lock to win the division when the season started. They didn't play poorly, and with 2 picks in each of the first two rounds, the future looks bright in New England. We haven't had a down season in 10 years.

Terry's first two SB victories were won with the running game and defense. He was a first rate field general who wasn't interested in overblown stats, just winning. In his later years after the passing rules were changed to counteract the greatness of Mel Blount, Bradshaw turned the tables and beat two great defensive teams (Dallas and LA Rams) by taking bone jarring shots while throwing several clutch 35+ yard passes under a furious pass rush. He was what is known as a winner. In the big game there were none better, and only Montana who is also from Pittsburgh was as good. Both were 4-0 in Super Bowl competition.

Many fans do not like Brady because he is only effective under optimum conditions. After he gets hit hard a few times he usually folds. He is constantly whining whenever he gets hit. Once he gets flushed out of the pocket he usually just runs for his life and throws the ball away or falls down. To Steeler fans and others who prefer tough QBs, Brady's lack of grit and toughness are disgusting. The great ones like Bradshaw, Staubach, Elway, Montana and now Roethlisberger and Rodgers are even more dangerous when under pressure and throwing on the run. When the going gets tough.......

    Cheers

Brady is as tough as they come. He is not constantly whining about getting hit, and he has only missed games because of the torn ACL injury to start the 08 season. Give it a rest. Brady threw a block to spring a first down run in the Superbowl. Did you happen to see any of his short yardage tries against Baltimore two weeks ago? He got bent in half backwards by Ray Lewis on a TD dive and got up and spiked the ball. He played the entire 2009 season with broken ribs. Soft is not a term to accurately describe Tom Brady.

Also, aside from 2007 and perhaps this year with the maturation of a second year Rob Gronkowski, he has done it with the likes of David Givens, David Patten, Reche Caldwell, and Deon Branch as his "weapons". Tom Brady has brought his team to five superbowls and won three of them. His receivers dropped at least 5 passes that hit them in the hands in the 4th quarter, one of which would have all but guaranteed the game had it been a completion.

Brady is admittedly better playing from the pocket, but that doesn't indicate that he is not tough. It merely indicates that he is far more accurate a passer from the pocket than he is rolling out. I wouldn't even think twice about taking Tom Brady over Ben Roethlisberger any day of the week. The only reason I would even consider Rodgers is because he has more seasons left to lead a team, but for one season, I wouldn't take any QB in the league over Tom Brady. Tom Brady lead his team to the Superbowl this year. He beat the Denver Broncos team that kicked the crap out of the Steelers in the wildcard round and he beat the Ravens which won the Steerlers' division.

If you think Brady isn't tough, you haven't been paying attention.
