    Everything is one-sided for liberals. A liberal judge is entitled to refuse to do her job and liberals will applaud that.

    On the other hand, the Catholic Church is FORCED to buy birth control and abortifacients even though that violates the Catholic religion.

    Double standard, 24/7.

    Then again, its the old "attack the gays" ploy, since homosexuality and a chruch provididing birth control have nothing to do with each other.

    lol @ judges or any high ranking politician paying taxes.

    but anyways since the Catholic Church doesnt pay taxes, but give a (*)(*)(*)(*)load of money to many good causes, the government cant seep into their business unless it is something unlawful. and vice versa the catholic church cant truly have a sway in what happens in this country politically.

    double edged sword for both politicians and religion.

    no they dont, but the fact in how this judge handled his civic duty is very very intriguing. a judge doesnt have to perform his civic duties because he dont want to, but a church must do something they dont want to because judges are making them????

    ironic and hypocritical.

    Well, the Dallas County Sherriff is a lesbian into her second term in office and she's managed to do her job without whining.

    Tonya's gotta point though... plenty of other judges willing to do their duty. Nobody will miss her.

    The Muslims and the Amish got an exemption from Obamacare for religious reasons. Why does Obama single out Catholics for persecution?

    It is part of his "divide and conquer" strategy. He thinks he can win re-election by turning people against the Catholic Church.

    Obama is evil and will go to hell, along with Nero, Stalin, Hitler and all the others who thought they could stop the Church and failed.

    Dallas area is a Gay Mecca that both East & West Coast Gays have been moving to for Many Many years (Escaping the Rat Races to a simpler Lifestle that reminds them of the America of their Youth or an America that they think will be more Log Cabin than The Castro District or West Hollyywood or The Village & Baltimore...

    well before Obama back stepped like a lil fairy he wanted to force the Catholic Church to provide health insurance that covered abortions and birth control.

    Frankly, on a personal level, I couldn't care less if he won't do straight marriages.

    On the other hand, because he is a government EMPLOYEE, he should be FIRED for this nonsense.

    You're giving Obama credit for having way more power than he's got. Nothing he's done can't be undone when saner heads prevail. He's a temp blip on Believers' radar and he'll be gone before we know it.

    In a way, I think he's actually done more to bring religions together than tear us apart. Who ever dreamed we live to see an American president take on the Catholic Church? He's an idiot. That's the only possible explanation.

    This is true. Dallas is a gay-friendly city. Funny story about that... for years, there was a fancy restaurant very popular with the social uppercrust of the city... run by a guy named Michael. Very handsome and charming latino who was a big hit with the society-page set.

    Long story short... Michael announces he's always felt he was a woman and proceeds to become one... and renames herself Monica. To this day, the 6'2" Monica runs a successful restarant and still draws the country club set.

    Gay is 'in' in Big D.

    (just don't try to get married)
