Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago and our nation was the most prosperous in the world, had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world and Mom stayed home to raise the kids. What the hell happened? I know, PROGRESS - FORWARD

 

Yeah, these libs love how our taxes go to these useless welfare programs. They never met a tax increase that they didn't salivate over. You see where Ted Cruz and Rand Paul have TV commercials out calling for the abolition of the IRS? This movement should have happened years ago.

 

Whether they realize it, "the left" is an unspecified boogyman comprised of most sensible folks in the US and other advanced nations from the antic perspective of alienated extreme rightists.

 

100 years ago was 1913. America had barely made it across its own continent. There were no cars, only steam trains and horses, outhouses for the toilet. Etc etc. Theses things you list didnt even exist. Now they do and your much better off for it.

Yeah. I don't even need to see it abolished. I would settle for completely dismantling it, restructuring it, rebuilding it. Just a smaller, simpler tax code that doesn't need some massive. powerful organization to implement it.

No, I'm referring specifically to the socialists on the left - in the US and Europe - whose lust for power and control has driven them to outright theft and coercion as a means of achieving their subjective moral ends. Stop living in denial of what you are, which is a bully.

 

My point was that average Americans are getting it from every direction now. We can't afford to pay higher federal income taxes. It doesn't make us 1%'ers to want our Federal, state, local taxes lowered. Regardless if they are proportionally lower in one area. Over all they are way too high.

Prosperity for common people, obviously. The US was the first country to achieve such for the average man, who had, up until that point in history, lived under the yoke of an entrenched nobility, which you seem keen on bringing back.
