There is one shining bright light about all these Fox News lies that tell you with 100% confidence that they are with out a doubt, lies. And that's the fact when you reveal the lies, Fox never really mounts a defense for themselves as rebuttal to those accusations. It's like, they know they are lies, but they don't care whether someone knows it or not. They'll just keep telling lies.

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow lies about mandatory vaginal probe

Viewers of MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show” recently got a preview of the heated rhetoric that will typify this debate over the next 16 months as Kasich seeks a second term. Maddow, the cable news program’s liberal host, noted on her June 28 broadcast the anti-abortion measures the GOP-controlled General Assembly had added to the budget, which Kasich had yet to sign.

In interpreting some of the budget’s more-ambiguous abortion language, Maddow contended that the new regulations included a “mandatory vaginal probe at the insistence of the state.”

Maddow was referring to a new requirement that women seeking abortions first receive ultrasounds to determine whether a fetal heartbeat is present. Her provocative words quickly went viral and sent PolitiFact Ohio in search of a full copy of the massive state budget.

Did it go as far as she claimed? Did it mandate a transvaginal ultrasound, as Maddow claimed, or did it allow for an external transabdominal procedure?

In other words, not only are external methods such as transabdominal ultrasounds allowed under the new law; they are required. That sinks Maddow’s claim of a “mandatory vaginal probe.”

That puts Maddow’s “vaginal probe” claim about as far as can be from the truth, into the realm of the ridiculous. Or, in Truth-O-Meter terms: Pants on Fire!

We reached out to MSNBC and asked representatives if Maddow had anything more to say, but we did not hear back from them.

MSNBC has to be the world's best editor of videos to make things look different than they already are. To make Gov Perry look like a racist by cutting the words debt off. You guys want to even try and compare the things MSNBC does to Fox. No way, MSNBC are the biggest liars on the planet.

Are you saying the graph reported in your video reports incorrect statistics? Please post the correct statistics for the same years.

Do you understand the nature of your own question? It is pointless to post the correct graphs, when clearly if you have any basic understanding of graph comparisons you will see not only are they false, they are mathematically incorrect by their own rights. Even if the attempt was made to tell the truth with those graphs, the people putting them there in those arrangements, did a terrible job. You cannot draw an accurate comparison. Pay attention closely what the narrator is pointing out with them. You miss the whole point of the video if you're asking me to post the accurate statistics. It's not about correcting the statistics. It's about knowing and seeing for yourself how inaccurate they are based on the arrangement of their own statistics. Not to see that, is to not understand what the video is about.

Their counterparts on MSNBC have the ability to make me sick even when I agree with them. But of course they are just following the market trend as established by the success of FOX News. Competition for the bottom is intense these days.

No, completely editing video after video is not following any trend. They just flat out lied and most of those lies are racist lies. They bring race into it every chance they get.

I see no competition for the bottom. MSNBC has that rapped up.

Ford somebody who hates Fox News, you sure spend a lot of time watching them. Just so you know, there's no law requiring you to tune in.

What do you have against freedom of speech? Why do you think your fellow countrymen are too stupid to know truth from lies?

After all, most of us are smart enough to see thru Obama... and partisan hacks like you.

Creating perception can sometimes have direct consequences. Romney should have studied harder instead of watching FOX News.

It's called presenting a balanced POV.

Absolutely. Don't forget, Geraldo works for Fox and he gave his view. Unlike most of what MSNBC does. Almost all top stories Fox brings on the opposition to give their view.

That is called arguing against Geraldo's POV which is still presenting both sides. Watch O'Reilly sometime when Geraldo is on, they can really get into it. Sometimes Stossel really pushes O'Reilly's buttons especially with legalizing drugs which O'Reilly is dead set against. A POV I do not share with O'ReillyBTW. But then O'Reilly is the top rated show of it's kind for a reason.

While Obama did call the attacks in Libya an act of terror, he was talking of a spontaneous act that grew out of the video put out against Muslims, during the protest march.. The administration spent two weeks saying it wasn't a planned attack of terror.

True, more than any other network and I do watch most of them...Even Al Jazzeera which I find as interesting as watching paint dry.

They are nearly convincing at making token efforts to appear "fair and balanced".

Get off of it. It was a hell of a lot more than a token effort and you know it.

Only seven times? I'm sure you can come up with even better examples. How that legitimizes FOX News I have no idea.

I could come up with many, many more. But I'm only interested in the big ones like this one.

Brooks: Hey, Obama told me shovel-ready jobs didn’t exist last year

And of course, this wouldn’t have been news all the time while Barack Obama kept claiming that these “shovel ready jobs” had prosperity just around the corner, right? Brooks says that the admission came in an off-the-record session with the President, which kept him from reporting it. I wonder if Brooks or anyone else would have been that particular had George Bush admitted “off the record” that he knew Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction in 2003 or 2004, while continuing to make the argument that the war was necessary because of them. What happened to sourcing as “a senior administration official”? Did it not occur to Brooks that Obama was lying about these jobs over the past year to defend his economic policies, and that Brooks might have had a responsibility to make that known? Good to know that the New York Times prints all the news that fits — its agenda.
