Litwin, the links you give provide in fact the same information as booking.con that about 35% of the hotels were reserved. I think this is not bad as Ukrainian authorities try to present. I was for May holidays in Marianske Lazne, this is the second largest resort with mineral waters in Czech Republic. I should tell you that when I did booking one week before the trip, only 50% of the hotels were occupied.

Again. May's holidays give no any significant income to Crimea. This summer season probably can be not the best, we will see how it goes soon. Next one should be better.

No, it was Russian territory under Ukrainian occupation since 1954, but it became obvious only after the creation of Ukraine in 1991.

First, this pictures are outdated. Second, it was naive to think that South Osetia will have a lot of tourists- it has no even access to the sea. So this is not correct to compare it with Crimea. And yes, I do believe more to what the politically independent site tells (booking.com) rather then to some arguable statements from Ukrainian press-this is clearly all propaganda.

See no connection between UN and booking.com
I believe only to my eyes-that is when I come to Crimea and see the empty beaches, then I will agree with you. When I go there this summer, I will do photos specifically for you. Actually, the prices did not go 40% higher this year compared to the previous year as stated by the press.
By the way, with respect pictures from Abhazia. Abhazia- is a different state independent from Russia, so the situation there depends on local authorities. If you think this is Russia, try to go to Abhazia and see if you can get there without border control.

Dear Litwin, how this site is related to Ukraine? I thought it is American site. Who told you that it is illegal to do business ? I have been to Cyprus last year (Turkish side) and discovered that there are a lot of business coming from UK. What is more interesting, a lot of properties on the see side are bought by people from England.
Business have other rules, then politics.

I do not understand it, why the hell British bank should be legally processed in the US. US too much thinks of itself-they behave like world polizei. But this will not work for Russia. US already sucks. Crimea de facto is in Russia and they can not do anything.

There was no Russian colony, called Ukraine, ther was only Small Russia, which was a Russian province, but Bolsheviks created a Soviet Republic, called Ukraine, and they decided that Crimean Peninsula must be part of this artificial creation, called Ukrainskaya SSR.

The population of Crimea was never asked if they want be part of the new created State "Ukraine", that existed from 1991 till 1914.

Well, Ukraine was once internationally recognized as part of the USSR.
There is no USSR any more, and no Ukraine, because the Junta in Kiev violated the Ukrainian constitution.
The Constitution is a contract between the government and the population.
If the self-proclaimed government does not stick to the contract, then the contract is not valid any more.

You can like it or not , but neither the Junta in Kiev nor Kim Jong-un or Mugabe, or Obama or Merkel, who have to represent the wishes of the "world government", can change the decision, made by the huge majority of people in Russia and the Crimea.

    Just get over it!

You cannot change it any more!

USA was once part of British territory, if Obama believes that the territorial integrity cannot be violated, then he should kiss the ass of the British Queen and USA should remain a British colony!

Putin is not as stupid, as Obama and other idiots who believe that they are "world government", Putin knows that you cannot rule against the rules of nature, that is why he just accepts the will of the people.

in that case it explains all
"a thief can steal property but that does not confer the right of ownership on the thief"

The property belongs to the people, not to the self-appointed governments.

The people of the Crimean Peninsula never complained about theft, their property, including the land they live on, still belongs to them.
Nobody was ethnically cleansed, the reunification of Crimea with Russia was peaceful, and everybody was happy, except the Junta in Kiev.

    BTW, what about Israel?

The Zionists believe that they have the right to live on the ethnically cleansed land, and they do not care a rat's ass about the property rights of the native Semites who were expelled from Palestine.

If you "liberate" a city of its inhabitants, then this is called ETHNIC CLEANSING!
