This is arguable article. One point for sure disagree is that the author claims that people (intelligentsia) run away from Crimea. This is certainly, not true. I have many friends who live there and they say, that now everything become better- pensions and salaries increased. Most of the people in Crimea is quite happy now, that the area was annexed to Russia. There are a lot of investments done there.

Litwin, I better believe my friends, then junky Ukraniane newspapers. Of course, I have been in Crimea several times, last time in 2000. Everything was in quite bad condition. And of course, without tourists Crimea will not survive. Like any other area which lives on tourists- Turkey, Greece, Spain, etc.
And this is the proof of my travel this summer in Crimea, then I will tell you whatever I see with my own eyes.
As far as the link is concerned I do not believe this article. The author can not even spell correctly Belorussia. Because it is from Ukranian newspaper. If you give me a link to the statement of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan or statement of Nazarbaev, then I would believe it. As far as Belorussia is concerned, I do not know who are these (*)(*)(*)(*)ing Jugend Union. Lukashenko is the boss in Belorussia. Unless he says this on TV or in press, the opinion of this Jugend Union does not cost a toilet paper.

This is a propaganda from Ukranian press about Kadyrov in Crimea. There is one essential evident lie in this paper, which allows to think that this article is a total lie-and that is that only 15% in Crimea voted to join Russia. This number makes me laugh. Crimea, where more than half are ethnic Russians could not vote like that. Also everyone know that the life standard in Russia is higher than in Ukraine, so maybe there were some stupid people who did not vote for joining Russia, but not 85%.

 

Who told you that there will be no tourists in Crimea?... Sure there will be. This year maybe not too much, but next years more and more. I know that on May holidays there was a traffic jam for the ferry, which brings the people who travel on the cars to Crimea. Better watch TV, then read Ukranian newspapers. Or even better go there and watch everything with your eyes.

There is nothing said that he wants to buy the whole South Shore of Crimea as stated in the yellow press from Ukraine. There is only suggestion to Aksenov to invest some money from the Chechen businessmen into the development of the resorts in Crimea.
This is also a false information about 15% of voters in Crimea. There is no such information on the website of the Council on Human Rights

Most of the Crimea hotels are private and will stay private. They have nothing to do with Chechens. If Chechens want to invest money to make good resorts in Crimea, they are welcome. Investing money for modernization and buying something- these are two different things. Yet, all this conversations are only now plans.
I am afraid now nothing belongs to the Ukraine in Crimea.

 

Only according proponents of territorial acquisition through military conquest, international law and the international community disagree, the Crimea is sovereign Ukrainian territory and Putin is a war criminal.

 

International community may agree, or disagree. Noone cares about its opinion. International community also disagreed when US started to bomb Yugoslavia, without any approval from United Nations Security Council. Russia is much better in this sense, because there were no deaths, no bombing in Crimea. Everything went smoothly. On the other side it is the US which broke the integrity of Yugoslavia and killed 1700 people, including 400 children during the operation there.
