Oh. Can we safely say that Big Earl's daughter was not acting very Christ-ish?

    Asking for what?

I don't justify acting like a racist, bigoted, homophobic moron by saying things like they were asking for it. I am very impressed that you did mange to excuse the bigoted vitriol of Little Earlina. Let's extend that. Should they have hit her as she was, as you say, asking for it?

There really is a slippery slope of sin and homosexuals are prime examples of what society does not want to become.

Not that everyone will turn gay but tolerance for one form of sin weakens the arguement against other sins.

No, she wasn't. For God so LOVED the world that he gave his one begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Any Christianity that lacks love is empty, vain, and useless.

Nobody excused that. Let's stick to what people actually said, shall we?

    Thank you.

That being said, I am still at a loss as to why folks seem to excuse this sort of hateful vitriol. I mean, it seems to me, if their alleged actions were that offensive, why not simply ask them to stop? Why allow them to finish their meal, pay their bill, and then call them (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s?

If it were my restaurant, I would have kicked them out too. There's some things you don't just ask people to stop, you remove them, and that includes public displays of overt sexuality and obscenity. This restaurant had the right to do so and luckily for those two guys, the cops weren't called and they weren't arrested.

Then start with divorces. That is a much bigger sin issue. Then move on to other sins.
Or just try stopping 1 sin, any sin. Oh, you can't. Waste of time. It is not your problem, it is the individuals problem and their relationship with God.

Businesses have the right to refuse service for any reason. I agree shouldn't happen, but it can. A company/person has the right to determine who it does business with. Bad practice to deny minorities/gays? Of-course but they can.

Oddly enough divorce used to be a society taboo.

So did out of wedlock birth and the premarital sex that led to the pregnancy.

But libs (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)ed and moaned about the prude killjoys spoiling all their fun and gradually the moral standards have been lowered.

No, actually they can't. It's illegal to discriminate based on color, disability, or gender. It shouldn't be because there is nothing in the Constitution that allows government to force businesses to provide a service for anyone.

I do not have a position on this issue but do have a question....why should prohibiting a business from banning folk it finds morally objectionable be any different than that same business banning folk for activities that are also legal in the state like inappropriate clothing or carrying a gun?

I'm tired of your untoward hostility. Pick a side and stick with it. Attacking other conservatives is just shameful.

Our political beliefs have nothing to do with this.

You are the epitome of a hypocritical Christian.

Once you have cleaned up you and yours of sin...................then feel free to work on the world.

Yeah, those damn libs. Making society more tolerable. Now one can't even take their kid out behind wood shed and strap a belt on their backside or lock them in a dark closet for a few hours.
Bring back those good ole days.
Remember when we could discriminate because of color or sexual gender? Gone. Damn.

But if we try hard enough, we can start wiping sin off the face of the earth. Oh wait, no we can't. God says so.
But 1st, let's start with ourselves. When we start living a completely sinless life, then we can work on getting the rest of the world to stop sinning.

And by that attitude, you may never see Jesus.

I would have more confidence in the moral sincerity of the right if they were more willing to advocate for morals tests on a potentially for-profit basis and not just drug tests.

Everyone is sinful; however, our job is to repent and help others do the same.

I agree with saintmichael, I still don't understand your friendly fire. You are failing to present your viewpoint of Big Earl's. The irrelevance of your comments are mind-boggling.

Any response to my previous statements about businesses' rights?

Both bad clothing choices and carrying a weapon are protected activities under the Constitution. So far odd sexual practices are not...Are you saying political correctness trumps the Constitution in court?

Cannot find where specifically asked me this.

I believe they should have the right...............I also believe the other side has the right to air their grievance.

And nowhere is it yours to point out the sins of others "let he who is without sin case the first stone"

As for the "friendly fire" comment............I will tell you the same thing. ALL Conservatives are not Religious

If you want to argue about "rights" fine................but bring religion into it and you expose yourself for criticism
