Arguably the best live band in rock n' roll history...well my humble opinion anyway. I've seen them in concert twice, U2, and the energy they put into every set was unreal.

They're like One Direction compared to NoMeansNo or Fugazi!

John Fogarty's voice was molded by rock angels. Credence really are one of a kind.

One of the most talented bands from their era, IMO.

Yes, imagine one of their live gigs? If there is a word more fitting than 'tight' for their all round musicianship I would be all ears.

I wish. Lol. I wasn't alive or I was just a baby when they were still a band. It's funny that a lot of the music I prefer was around before I was born. It just seems like those bands in the 60s and 70s were so much more innovative and unique than today's bands.

I am a child of the 80's and 90's myself and I know what you mean. Every genre has its golden era, and yes, the 60's and 70's were rock music's etc. golden era. But like any music form there is only so long that the new explorations and creativity can push it. In the end everything must move on or stagnate.

    [You've got me started now!]

I would actually be of the opinion that there is more music being created now than at any other time in history. All you need is a laptop and, a good sound card and something like protools to produce an album, upload it onto Soundcloud and bam! Of course more music means more rubbish, but more music also means more choice and a larger amount of quality music.

If you are interested I have a music blog www.screwmusic.me that covers everything we believe to be quality, everything from classic rock, blues, jazz, classical etc. all the way up to modern electronica and dance (I believe the term is IDM State side!) I did a post on the Cambodian rock scene of the 60's and 70's before the Khmer Rouge, brilliant stuff. It is not all that obscure though!

Oh, there is some newer music that I like too. I really love grunge, for example. Can't say that I'm a fan of most "glam rock" though some of it is okay.

I'm not familiar with the Cambodian rock scene at all. I will definitely check out your website though. Thanks.
