http://www.newsmax.com/Politics/jim-webb-hillary-clinton-email-democarts/2015/04/09/id/637578/ Hmm. Thoughts on Jim Webb? Personally, he's my preferred candidate out of both parties.

I was reasonably impressed the two times I've seen him interviewed. Would be open to learning more about his stance on issues. A viable VP candidate as well.
Hillary. Bill was actually a pretty cool guy, at least on a personal level, even if alot of his policies sucked ass. But Hillary...ugh. Can't stand to watch her speak frankly.
Bill was pretty charismatic and a smart president, I thought. Hillary is just way too arrogant and way too pompous. I still steam when I think of when she said they were "broke" after Bill left the White House.
He was a Republican before they were taken over by neoCONs and became lackeys for the Likud party. Good for him. He is a very bright man with an impressive record. I would gladly support him. I would love to see him run against Rand Paul.
Agreed. A real moocher, that woman. Sits around doing nothing but talking about how great she is and thinks she deserves a job, not just any job, but to be President! What arrogance!
Clinton doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting my vote. I don't care how bad the Republican is. At this point it's Jim Webb or third party for me.
You are correct, it was the neoconservatives why Webb went over to the Democrat party. But the neoconservatives are no longer in charge of the GOP since 2010. In fact nobody is in charge of the GOP today. If the conservative base were to regain control of the GOP, you could see Webb coming back home.
Reagan was anti war, I'm anti war and Webb is anti war. We all believe in peace through strength. Economic leftist ? I don't think so, Webb don't like commies.
Against foreign intervention. Let me clarify. He wants to bring our troops home. He opposed the Iraq War. http://www.ontheissues.org/senate/james_webb.htm
I think if Webb were to run, you're going to see independents and even Republicans voting for the man, not for the party. Just like there would be some lefty loons who would not vote and sit it out. You saw 10% of the conservative base who sat it out in 2008 because John McCain won the GOP nomination. If Webb were to run as a Democrat it could be the first time in over 45 years that the Democrat party could win the veterans vote and even maybe the military vote, but that all depends who's on the GOP ticket. But who would Webb's VP running mate be ? Sarah Palin ?
Neoconservatives are actually liberals. Both neoconservatives and liberal Democrats support nation building, butting in other nations business. Conservatives oppose nation building are more like isolationist. Webb opposed the war in Iraq because G.W. Bush was ignoring the Weinberger Doctrine and the Powell Doctrine. Same reason why I wasn't a big fan of putting boots on the ground in Iraq with Clinton's military. Webb is closer to being a moderate conservative.
Jim Webb seems to be really confused, he's all over the board. A liberal who opposes amnesty, supports the Second Amendment and wants a stronger military. But he supported "Cash for Clunkers" and hundreds of billions of dollars for shovel ready jobs when there were no shovel ready jobs. One thing about James Webb, he reminds me to much of John Lehman. Both seem to be two pissed off unhappy campers, it could scare voters off.
He will also appeal to Progressive Democrats because of his views on Wall Street. He's alot like Warren and Sanders in that regard.
