Of course. They are duped by RW propaganda just like they've been duped and conned by the charlatan.

With every RW post I read here I can understand how a guy described by his own party leaders as "utterly amoral," a "pathological liar" "fraudster," “narcissist" "phony" "dangerous national security risk" "con man" "national embarrassment" who is "wholly unprepared to be president" can be selected president.

    I just did.

If you removed only California’s popular votes from the total, this is the result you would get, as of November 16:

    Clinton: 55,889,446
    Trump: 57,760,819......snip~

Now I just did again. So let that dense grey matter filter it down with the corn.

Now quit all that babbling you do.

since when is California not part of the USA?

what happens to Trump's lead if we remove Texas? Ohio?

this silly attempt at self-soothing is pretty ridiculous.

    Who said it wasn't?

Trump didn't lose the electoral. You do have that much figured out, Right?

Whats silly is the left thinking that this changes up the election. Or that 2 states should be able to decide an election. Or five out of 50.

Yeah so the leftness shouldn't need any self soothing going on. Just pay the debt on time.

Thanks dude, that's the spirit, your long overdue congratulation is graciously accepted.

PS I wasn't duped, I weighed pros and cons and went with a new direction and shake up of Washington vs status quo, corruption and more of the same. Only party loyalists like you are truly duped, we independents are open minded.

If you removed Texas from the electoral votes Clinton would have won. So what? That doesn't even start to prove that Trump won the popular vote in 49 states.

Post like these help me understand how a man is own party leaders described as "utterly amoral," a "pathological liar" "fraudster," “narcissist" "phony" "dangerous national security risk" "con man" "national embarrassment" who is "wholly unprepared to be president" could be selected president.

Majority should rule no matter what the outcome. Any fool knows the electoral college does not speak for the majority of its citizens. Not having the ability to recognize right from wrong is something your crowd needs to get over.

    Tell that to Bernie.

Take last week's West Virginia primary. Sanders clobbered Clinton, 51% to 36%. But when delegates were divvied up, Sanders won 18 and Clinton 11. Adding in superdelegates, the results were much closer: Sanders walked away with 19 delegates and Clinton claimed 18. That means Sanders' landslide victory cut into Clinton's overall delegate lead by precisely one.
Superdelegates are those who automatically get a seat at the Philadelphia convention and have the liberty to vote for whomever they please. The overwhelming majority are supporting Clinton.

It takes a landslide popular vote to get 1 delegate in demland. You'll don't mind if Hillary wins the delegates after losing the popular vote do you?

All excellent points, but by the same token, Trump talked about how unfair it would be if he won the popular vote among Republicans during the primaries but didn't get the nomination. He said there would be riots.

Anyone who has ever studied our history and form of government and the Constitution and understood all of the above would never make the statements you just did.

Because that is how the rules of their nominating proceedure are written and has nothing to do with choosing the electors state by state.

Irrelevant argument that avoids the real issue. Bernie or Jack the Ripper running for office without majority rule is wrong and you just exposed your deflection proving just how right I am.

    - - - Updated - - -

No where in the Constitution did the framers ever suggest to hijack elections in this manner proving just how little you know about the framers intentions.

Are you people really trying to argue that if we had had a single national popular vote where every citizen voted on the same ballot and there was one single tally it would come up with the exact same number as adding up all the totally seperate and unique state elect results we DID have?

He was complaining about the rules just as he complained about the rules of our presidential election, and for much the same reason: he thought the majority should decide.

Don't move the goal posts. You doubted that without California Trump was winning the popular vote. Now that you were given that dose of reality. It shows that you didn't know what you were talking about.

And again.....what I showed is how Borat had it Right and you didn't.

I know their intent was to balance the states as the States elect the President not the People and that they GUARANTEED the States and the People would would NOT be a Democracy or have majority rule. Civics 101.

    - - - Updated - - -

But they don't as guarantied in the Constitution so he ran on the existing rules and won.

And they separately elected their slate of electors as has been done since the first President was elected.

    deal with it, bro.

And won it in the rest of the states giving him the most electors and the Constituution dictates Presidents will be elected.

    deal with it bro'

    There was no national vote.

He has the White House with over 300 electoral votes, that is a mandate by the States who elect the President.

But complained about those same rules when he thought they weren't working out in his favor, going so far as to call them, "phoney," "a laughing stock" and "a disaster for democracy," and start hemming and hawing about revolution. Hence the hypocrisy.

Trump called for a violent revolution, when he thought Obama won the Electoral College but lost the national Popular vote, in 2012.

What he said changes nothing. A football game is won by how many points are scored, not how many yards are gained. It has always been the EC. No one ever won the popular vote because there's nothing to win.
You all were OK with it during the primaries. You can't call Trump a hypocrite when your guilty of the same thing.
