How to best deal with North Korea

How do you explain their unprovoked aggressive attacks against other countries?

And rightly so. We will defend against their aggression.

We have the right to defend ourselves from their unprovoked aggressive attacks against us.

Aside from that, the world community has a right to oppose grave violations of human rights. The idea that countries are free to commit atrocities went out of style by the end of 1945.

If they stopped their rampant violations of international law the sanctions would be lifted.

 

Pakistan and Israel have the legal right to have nukes. Iraq, Iran, and North Korea have no such right.

The entire world slammed Iran with crushing sanctions until they agreed to abandon their pursuit of nuclear weapons.

The same crushing sanctions will remain on North Korea until they give up their illegal weapons.

We did nothing to ask for this North Korean aggression, and if this progresses to the point where an American city is nuked we will be using our nuclear weapons to commit genocide against North Korea, and against any other country who gets in our way while we are doing it.

Kadaffy didn't seem to understand that joining the civilized community meant no longer acting like a thug, at least pretending remorse over his past atrocities (and certainly not gloating about them), and not massacring peaceful civilians in his own country.

To answer your question as you asked it: If we allow the NPT to end, nations around the world will develop nukes. Eventually there will be a terrible nuclear war that will kill most of the human race. Not good. That is why the entire world is slamming North Korea with sanctions until they abandon their illegal weapons. And it is why the world slammed Iran with sanctions until they changed course and abandoned their pursuit of nukes.

I think though what you meant to ask was why we must prevent them from developing ICBMs. The reason why we oppose that is because as soon as Noth Korea develops ICBMs they will invade South Korea and try to destroy them, and when we help South Korea defend themselves, North Korea will nuke Los Angeles and Chicago.

Israel and India chose not to join the NPT. As such it is 100% legal for them to have nuclear weapons.

There is no hypocrisy here. All countries have the right to choose which treaties they will join or not join. And those countries who joined the NPT and gave up the right to have nuclear weapons, all did so voluntarily.

 

The reason their nukes are currently not deliverable to the US has nothing to do with the size of their nukes. It is because their nukes are not capable of leaving the atmosphere, traveling through space, and reentering the atmosphere.

 

Whenever anyone makes a treaty with North Korea they take whatever people give them but then refuse to comply with their half of the treaty. It is certainly correct that we are no longer interested in playing that game, but it is a little odd to characterize that as "not allowing" a treaty. We certainly won't enter any such treaty ourselves, but if someone else is foolish enough to attempt a treaty with North Korea we will not prevent them from their folly.

North Korea is not trying to defend themselves. The only danger they face from us is that we will defend against their aggression. North Korea is building up their arms because they intend to aggressively invade and destroy South Korea.

 

The war is coming whether we like it or not. North Korea is going to attack South Korea as soon as they gain the ability to nuke the US.

Any country that attempts to posses illegal weapons will be crushed by worldwide sanctions.

Then S. Korea doesn't have 15 American bases, and the US isn't installing Thaads there as well... to the chagrin of most of the S. Korean residents who want peace with N. Korea rather than be blown to bits to make Wall Street and the US military industries happy. But then again what they want doesn't matter now does it?

 

What nation did North Korea invade and when? I can list you though the nations the US invaded:

Serbia - When the US illegally bombed Belgrade under a pretense of genocide and supported the KLA Albanian terrorists when there was no genocide.

Iraq - When the US illegally invaded Iraq under a pretext of Saddam Hussein having weapons of destruction, when there were no weapons.

Ukraine - When the US overthrew the legally elected president and installed Yatsenuk as president ...as per the telephone call between Victoria Nuland and Ambassador Pyatt.

Syria - When the US entered the country illegally under the pretext of fighting terrorists, when in reality they were supporting the terrorists to overthrow the legally elected president.

Libya - When the US asked the UN for a no fly zone and then proceeded to bomb Libya to support ISIS.​

So guess again who the rogue nation is, and stop believing everything the propaganda networks tell you.

The fact that Russia refers to Syrian civilians as terrorists in an attempted justification of the genocide that they are perpetrating against the Syrian people doesn't mean those civilians actually are terrorists.

Man you are so full of....disinformation. NK invaded SK crossing the 38th parallel on Jun 25, 1950. Japan occupied Korea until the end of WWII. Soviets set up NK after declaring war on Japan toward the end of the war. That was not a declared war by all occupants so it was a police action and remains the longest 'cease fire' or whatever you wish to call it. A coalition of countries invaded Iraq twice. Don't say we unilaterally went in because that's total untruth. WMDs were wrong all around not just USA.

Libya-was a CF produced by HRC (and Obama) who managed to muck it all up. Allowing them to take out Kaddafi was monumentally stupid as was much of the planning or lack of it to be precise. There was no invasion per se. In fact Iraq is the only country truly invaded.

If you have no bidders the cost of the new debt goes higher. Many feel the bond market is in a bubble right now and could come crashing down soon. When the bond market goes it will take the stock market with it.

 

I wouldn't equate the entire bond market with treasury bonds. I don't know many think the bond market (minus treasury bonds) will collapse.
