Trump’s first year in office was so bad that scholars already rank him as the worst president ever

    Gimme a break, lad. If I did not vote for Trump, Hillary be president.

    Is Hillary’ a higher standard in your book? What are you, a Liberal of some kind?

    No. The USA is being made great again. Half the country think so.

    What the other half the country is thinking is, frankly, not my concern.

    Of course it was. Beer summit was the act of a shrewd, experienced community organizer. Half the country laughed watching it on TV :)

    Obama is the least qualified president we have had. Trump is a champ.

    To me, the worst president in US History is FDR. Among other things:
    -Failed to tackle the Great Depression successfully
    -Ursurped political power in America
    -Through sanctions on Japanese Oil, essentially brought us into the war he campaigned on not getting into.
    -Then if that weren't enough, he weakens our moral standing through the Japanese concentration camps. If we had internet back then, it would have been great propaganda for the Japanese Empire.
    -Wait, there's STILL more. He didn't like a SCOTUS ruling, so in his nature as America's first oligarch, he replaced the judges he didn't like with ones he did. FDR is the modern day founding father of America's current wretched court.

    If we had lost the war, our thoughts on FDR would be very close to modern historians view of Adolf Hitler, thankfully minus a Holocaust. That's about the only difference.

    Deluded right wingers used to think that the ever increasing federal debt was a great hazard to the USA. Now they conveniently look the other way when this is brought up:

    http://www.usdebtclock.org/

    Three million Americans have lost health care coverage thanks to Dump's stupidity. Republican death panels are on their way while many on the pro death far right are applauding.

    the USA and the world would not be able to survive 7 years

    which should remind everyone here to kiss your children every day and tell them you love them because before long they may well be gone

    Honestly... we’ll be just fine seven, and seventy years from now. After all, we’ve survived eight years of Obama?

    And yet he won relection by a landslide. that little summit was another step towards solidifying a base that showed up and beat Romney's ass.

    No. Collusion of MSM and the Democrats beat Romney’s ass.

    And, of course, an affirmative action beat Romey’s ass, too.

    Naturally "progressive scholars" prefer President Andrew Johnson to President Trump. Johnson opposed the Fourteenth Amendment and supported Democrats attempts to solidify Black Codes to keep blacks in a kind of bondage.

    Johnson implemented a pattern of reconciling Democrat states back into the Union that allowed the formerly seceded states to hold conventions and elections to re-form their civil governments. Democrat states returned many old leaders and passed Black Codes, so Republicans in Congress attempted to reverse these actions by law.

    Johnson vetoed Congress's bills, but the Republicans overrode him. Similarly, they passed and codified the Fourteenth Amendment, giving citizenship and civil rights to former slaves, despite Johnson's opposition. Congress attempted to prevent Johnson from firing his Secretary of War Edwin Stanton, but he persisted. This led both houses to vote for his impeachment, and he only escaped impeachment in the Senate by one vote.

    Trump did more in his first 60 days than the radical extremist Obama did in 8 years. Since Obama failed to get anything done legislatively, he resorted to issuing a mountain of 11th hour regulations. Trump was masterful in erasing the IEDs Obama left behind, using the Congressional Review Act to free the country.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/01/us/politics/trump-overturning-regulations.html

    I would question how a President with the worst record defending his policies before the Supreme Court since Zachary Taylor, could possibly be the 8th best president.

    The only way Trump can be as bad as Obama would be if he:

    Weaponizes the IRS, attacking opponents with audits and other forms of harassment;

    Lets assault weapons walk across the southern border in an attempt to have American bodies justify the repeal of the 2nd Amendment;

    Has a Lois Lerner clone slow walk applications for raising funds to support free speech he didn't agree with;

    Unleashes the NSA to spy on American citizens, sends his NSA Director to Congress to lie about it, exiling anyone who blows the whistle on his crimes and lies;

    Orders the investigation of a reporter who like James Rosen reports news he didn't like;

    Orders the high tech assassination of an American Citizen like Anwar al-Awlaki on suspicion of crimes, creating a new form of due process;

    Forces American citizens to buy products and services whether they need or want them.

    You mean Obama who was a first term U.S. Senator with ZERO meaningful national level experience and no leadership or management history? Granted that DID make him 'qualified' as a leftist.

    Your Viewpoint noted.... Yet over 200 Political Historians Ranked Trump as the Worst President Ever as over 1/2 of US citizens and most of the world.

    Those same left-wingers ranked Woodrow Wilson, the Patron Saint of Progressivism, in the top 10. This country hasn't put a more racist SOB than Wilson in the White House. Not concerned about most of the world. The world is looking for $2B per year from American Taxpayers. I'm sure that deep down Merkel would rank Obama as the worst President as he treated her to the same kind of spying that he illegally treated Americans to. Trump is a non-ideologue, unapologetic enemy of the establishment that has concentrated wealth around the DC Beltway. He's a threat to all who suck on the BIG GOVERNMENT sugar tit and almost half the people like that about him, despite 95% negative media coverage. Pretty amazing that, after the constant negative coverage that you can only claim 1/2 of US Citizens see him negatively. Few Presidents would do that well under the circumstances.

    My friend,

    All I sell is a good mood and a cheerful, upbeat, optimistic atmosphere.

    As opposed to you, with your whine, doom and gloom.
