I'm not a Trump fan (I voted against him twice-the primary and the general), but I think those scholars are showing how unobjective their thinking is. You cannot rate a President while they are in office. They should have their academic credentials revoked, and they should be working as barristas side by side with the similarly unobjective psychologists who diagnose him over the television.

Why can't you rate a President based on their body of work even if that work is ongoing?

The OP takes note of the fact that Obama was ranked in 2014 (his presidency being on going at that point) and that his ranking changed four years later. The fluctuation of recent presidents are much more prominent and often go in both directions, but that is no reason to say that they can't make a judgment based on the current information.

Unless a miracle happens, and Trump suddenly developes character, integrity, and leadership, I doubt that the verdict will be any different 20 years from now.

The only REALISTIC Scenario that will affect his rating in 20 years:

As of now, he is the WORST--44th out of 44.

In 20 Years (depending on the length of intervening Administrations) he may be 47th out of 47, or 48th out of 48, etc.

But, it seems...

(that due to his MENTALLY-CHALLENGED Parroting of RW Conspiratorial IMBECILITY, and general degradation of the dignity of the Office (which makes Trump completely unworthy of the respect shown previous Presidents))
