It would kill the tourism industry to screen all the tourist, that, and we have illegal aliens coming in without screening. I have no problem with you choosing to endanger your child by not vaccinating them. My children (now in college) have all of their vaccinations. That said, I would think differently if I had a child that could not be vaccinated due to health reasons. They are reliant on herd immunity to stay safe.
Because that is what the community has chosen. You are free to vote for politicians that wish to change that policy
So you want to stop every tourist that just comes here to visit Disneyland and give them a health check?
So to protect the tourism trade, people are not required to get vaccinated when they come to visit the US, but US citizens who do not even leave the country are required to get vaccinations? Yet, I believe, there are several vaccinations required of US citizens to visit other countries..... What percentage of outbreaks of disease previously vaccinated for, are caused by US citizens who are not vaccinated?
You are the one who says citizens should carry the vaccination burden for visitors, perhaps it behooves you to know.
Individuals in most countries other than the US have a much higher vaccination rate. The US is lousy in that category. It is the filthy diseased Americans who don't vaccinate that cause the problems.
You have missed the point. If vaccination has taken the numbers down to a microscopic level, then where is the exposure coming from?

Are any of these countries non-English speaking and non-European, by chance? I know Progressives seem to love to selectively compare the U.S. to other White countries around the world to make America seem bad.
What makes you think I didn't read it? Which, BTW, I did, and I know what it says. It proves a point. One that I am sure you will invert.
Setting a dangerous precedent, Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin says vaccines should not be mandated When I was coming we only had two vaccines, smallpox and polio, there was no mumps measles or chickenpox vaccines. You have to be a really dumb-*ss not to vaccinate your kids nowadays?!! Gov. Bevin also said he deliberately exposed his nine children to chickenpox, bucking medical wisdom Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin (R.) shared his own beliefs on vaccinations this week — beliefs which defy common medical wisdom, and which have raised alarm among public health experts. In an interview with the Bowling Green radio station WKCT on Tuesday, he said if parents are worried about chickenpox, they should have them vaccinated. However, if they are not worried, they shouldn’t have to merely because the government mandates it. “If you are worried about your child getting chickenpox or whatever else, vaccinate your child,” the governor said. “But for some people, and for some parents, for some reason, they choose otherwise. This is America. The federal government should not be forcing this upon people. They just shouldn’t.” https://www.salon.com/2019/03/20/set...t-be-mandated/
