I know - Heyman running ECW was a real highlight. Just don't hand him the checkbook lol! But I could see that RAW definitely looked a bit better last night. Maria Kanellis - is that hair really all hers? Gotta be a huge wig or a LOT of extensions! Maaaan I'd totally forgotten about that. Is it even still on anywhere? I'm wondering about starting a wrestling thread here on PF somewhere. Maybe we have enough people here for some kind of traffic on it?
Hey make a Wresting Thread in Sports. I like Raw/Smackdown. We always get the PPVs. It is a Hilarious, Comedic, Soap Opera.
My mom gave it to me. lol I have an alias but the way I see it, places like this I don't say anything I wouldn't IRL so no need to hide who I am. Less serious forums or in games though my alias reigns.
The Montegriffos are an influential Gibraltan family. They originated in Italy and migrated to Gibraltar to escape the Franks some 4 centuries ago. My grandfather on my mother's side was a Montegriffo.
'Humble Pie' was a late 60's British rock bank. Peter Frampton was the lead vocalist and guitarist. I'm a mathematician and 'Pi' is the symbol used by mathematicians to represent the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter.
As a youth, I was a pretty good 9-ball player. The other guys in the arcade named me 'Pitbull' because they found it hard to win a match against me.
I played a lot of tabletop RPGs in HS/college. Mostly DnD, but others as well, and I usually preferred to play a Paladin (or similar)- the cliche'd 'holy knight in shining armor do-gooder'. When playing in more modern settings (futuristic, usually) I'd build a 'modern paladin' as closely as the game would allow, which would usually turn out to be some good-aligned religious cultist with a plasma rifle, ballistic armor and a motorcycle, or something like that. I mostly just PC game now, but I still tend to stick to that sort of character.
I was raised solidly racist, homophobe, Catholic & Republican. I lived and breathed it for thirty years. 22 years ago, I packed up and moved and started seeing other points of view. I started hanging out in chat rooms and then forums, and I lived & breathed differing opinions. I vowed to never stop learning and never get so solid in a belief that I would refuse to change based on new information. So, my handle is a command to myself, basically. My views are organic, and never based on an inflexible ideology that refuses to absorb new knowledge.
