Did you not watch the video of Comey testifying? It's all dealt with in very straightforward terms where none of this debate is even necessary.

 

1) It doesn't have to be, in order for to be corrupt.

Comey was testifying as to what they had investigated to that point. This investigation was a much deeper, AND was based on the legal opinions of the evidence. What Gowdy was asking were question about what happened, and not about the legality of each of those things. He starts off by trying to use legal definitions to define motives, but Comey answers to the definition, not the motive or intent. Comey clearly stated that he and the FBI legal counsel said that they could not prosecute because they could not determine motive or intent at the time. This latest investigation showed motive, and also showed intent which was that there were emails that were classified later, and that their were emails transfered that were determined by an OCA but not Clinton.

Yes the information in the emails was BORN classified as those who get such security clearances are schooled, an email does not have to be marked classified for the information in it to be classified and it is under investigation.

Comey testified they did not even look into motive and intent is not required under the law. It was gross negligence which is a violation of the law. Comey came to his specious determination before Clinton was even interviewed.

 

Eric Ciaramella is no Whistle Blower.

(1) He went to Schiff's Office first and broke the law sharing Classified Material. He was required to go to the IG/DoJ first.
(2) A CIA Whistle Blower is supposed to report on the Intelligence agencies, not on the President of the United States. The Whistle Blower laws do not cover him.
(3) He previously leaked to the Press.
(4) His best friend works for Schiff
(5) He worked closely with Biden, Brennan, and other high level Democrats and was invited to events by these people.​

This is a Democratic Party operative abusing the Whistle Blower law and for some reason getting away with it. The Democrats DO NOT want him under oath publicly. Why is that? I have a feeling the DNC / Clintons may be thinking on suiciding this guy. He should be scared of them. The Republicans want him alive and well to testify... and then to go straight to Leavenworth for being a traitor.

I don't know that it is a crime but it certainly is a bad thing to do. Good think Trump didn't do that.

 

The main problem that I have with this entire mess, is that I haven't been able to establish basic facts regarding the Ukrainian prosecutor. The two sides have entirely different narratives. It's too bad that we don't have an independent group that could determine fact. All we have are parrots of the dueling narratives.

What I do know is that there was an appearance of conflict of interest. That is a violation of government standards for ethical behavior. Biden (either one) should not have been in that position. I dunno if that alone justifies any investigation.

Should Biden and son be investigated?

Personally, my bias is: Heck yeah!

Objectively, I can't say. If the right-wing narrative is accurate, I think the answer is obviously yes. If the left-wing narrative is accurate, there's nothing to see there.

Again, I haven't been able to prove to myself that either narrative is true. It just looks bad, to me.

 

He only didn’t do that if you can ignore all the testimony that he did exactly that. And his one defender just switched I guess he figured out the penalty for perjury.
