No I did not. I provided a link showing that his refusal is legal in MN.

No he didn't, he could also refuse to sell a person cold pills if it's under suspicion that it will be made for meth.

No shoes, no shirt no service.

He had to direct her to another store, and he did the complete opposite. He violated the rules, openly, clearly.
I dunno why you're nitpicking around here. It's such an end of discussion.

It's terrible that people can't be forced to do the things you want them to. We should bring back slavery, then we could just have the slaves pass out medication.

You have no evidence of that-just the accusation of the woman.

Emergency rooms aren't people. Any person who provides a service can legally refuse to provide that service. They aren't supposed to do it on the basis of race, sex, or religion, but the reality is "I don't want to" is a valid reason.

And “you are fired” or sued into oblivion is a valid recourse

    How is it “obvious”?
Is everyone supposed to be aware of everyone’s religious preferences that they interact with?
Maybe y'all should wear a yellow star to indicate as such.

Why would they refuse insulin, on what moral grounds?

    Yup. It is.

Same way the lady who wanted the pill can say to the pharmacist, "I'm never shopping here again" and heading off to find a provider that will.

Wouldn't it be nice if the regulations allowed patients to get their medications the way they get their socks from Amazon? Would solve a lot of these problems....

The poor pigs that generate it are exploited by factory production techniques. Does it matter? Should you have the power to force someone to sell something they don't want to sell?

So one thinks they will try to out bullshit the ignorant? I am showing you a pattern here that you refuse to see.

No you are making an accusation without proof.
That isn’t a pattern outside of some religious people feel they have the right to dictate how others live.

Religious exemptions exist for man made drugs nationwide.
Some believe anything outside of prayer is immoral.

Should they be allowed to refuse insulin?

Yeah. They got brought from Africa, chained, tortured, raped, get to see their children sold off, and killed when we see fit.
On a serious note. Your comment is so racist. Really what a fail.

    Seriously?

Unless you've been living completely off the grid, you are aware of the war on women's rights currently (and endlessly) being waged by the Christian right, aren't you? It doesn't take "some political hacks" to make this obvious.

And yes, I'm whining about religious bigots putting their personal beliefs ahead of my health and my right to privacy. It's what the Roe v Wade decision was about. If they would stay out of everyone else's personal life choices and mind their own business, whining or resisting wouldn't be necessary.
