Is this comment based on emotion or do you actually know anything about relevant law or medical ethics? Are you aware that in some States the law allows for the refusal to provide these pills?

You're just busy distracting away from the topic, making personal attacks. Oh how petty this all is.

    WTF...

YOU questioned how you could refuse to sell insulin on religious grounds.
I replied that Christians are able to do just that.
YOU defend that Christian taliban way.
    Kind of it.

How did he impede her from using the link provided? She was trying to prevent him from adhering to his religious and moral beliefs. I believe that trumps her having to buy from someone else who sells it.

Your having to engage in such overblown hyperbole proves the weakness of your position.

    Another lazy strawman.

The morning after pill is not a life saving service.

    And lol at morality.

This is an ethics concern-and providers have the absolute right to not violate their deeply held convictions.

What f*&^ing difference does it make how smart she is????? She was trying to legally purchase a medication from a business that sells medication. The idiot pharmacist should be fired for costing the business a sale.

This argument is so off the mark it's hard to know where to start. You've got hasty generalization. You've got red herring. You've got appeal to authority. It's a buffet of poorly considered argument.

First of all, I was addressing the claim that the mention of slavery is racist. It's not. The purpose of the link was not to define doctors as modern slaves. In fact, I disagree that doctors are slaves because they have the right to refuse to perform a service. It's the argument that they should be forced to perform services that don't want to perform that turns them into slaves.

Second, you didn't post the definition of modern slavery. You posted indicators that may indicate modern slavery. Not everyone with unsuitable clothing is a modern slave. Not everyone who doesn't want to make eye contact is a modern slave. Slaves are people who are forced to provide a service against their will. Like doctors who are forced to perform procedures they don't want to perform.

NOPE, the pharmacist/pastor is an employee and is NOT free to dispense his "morals" on others. He has NO right, as an employee, to decide who gets what drug.

NO, she is free to get the drug she wants and was prescribed....just like anyone else...

Funny how some think the woman was stupid but not the "MAN" who let his tender little feelings enter into something that was none of his business...and lost his job :) :)

    That is not "free".

    That is discrimination.

Latest local news is that the mentally ill pharmacist lost his job :) ...as he should since he wasn't hired to play god....
