Woman was denied morning-after pill because of pharmacists' beliefs: Lawsuit

Yeh there are lots of ways to get it, she went to her doctor and was prescribed it and then went to her pharmacy to have it filled.
She could have also flown to Canada that isn’t as religiously backwards as we are.
She should not have to have psychic powers to abide by the way you feel she should have done it.

 

She is lying it's all a scam , she knew this pharmacist refused to sell the pill before, it's all a setup. Like a poster said she could of bought it from Amazon.

Absolutely relevant. She has no need to force the pharmacist to help her kill her baby. It is HER responsibility in the first place. There are plenty of other options for her to get the pill. There is no need for this specific pill there are effective over the counter and Amazon morning after pills.

 

I am not a doctor, but I would suspect, depending on circumstances, a doctor could find his/her/alphabet's way out of not performing an abortion. Whether it be based on their "best medical practices" or simply "I am not sure of how to do this procedure safely for fear of killing the mother", or any of a number of technical excuses that may pass in court.
I have no dog in this fight but personally I see a vast difference between a baker, pharmacist, and a physician.

Any medical provider has the right to refuse you any service they want to refuse you. You can't force medical providers to sell you with services.

 

Maybe it’ll be ruled that filling prescriptions is a form of artistic expression as well.
