I get into a lot of popular vote fights. I'm surprised you haven't seen one.

And, it took 100 years from the time women were legally allowed to vote in the USA.

I was watching last night. In every city, I did not see a single soul who wasn't masked. This is just more sour grapes on your part.

 

Yes, criticism of public figures is allowed in America. Noticing Joe's dementia is hardly name calling anyway. They didn't hide him in his basement due to Covid. They hid him because "people would notice".

 

First of all, let's bee precise. Not half of the country, but LESS than half the country. In his first election he lost the popular vote by 3 million, and this time he is on tract to lose it by 7 million. Fortunately we the people, in majority, know a con man when we see one. And he has never enjoyed approval at or above 50%, so, no, not half the country. But OK, almost half of the people were that silly, that they didn't realize that he is a con man. Con men have a way of fooling some people all the time. They can even fool all the people for some time. They can't fool all the people all the time, though, so eventually his ways caught up with him and he lost. I expect Trumpism to slowly go away. Sure, people will develop BDS, will whine a lot and try to delegitimize him, but little by little they will forget the orange man, especially when in 2024 hopefully the GOP nominates a better and more decent person to be their candidate; and one day they will look back and regret that they got fooled by him and supported him. At least the more lucid among them will.

I think Mitt Romney should run again in 2024. And Jeb Bush. And John Kasich. I could easily vote for either one. Or some other star; there are some very good Republican governors.
Of course Trump himself may run again in 2024, or a proxy (Ivanka, for example), but I would hope that the GOP voters wouldn't fall for this conmen family a second time. and would select a decent person. Then, if Joe retires which is likely after one term, and either Kamala or AOC get selected, the GOP will win the election in a landslide.

 

I'm not registered with any party, never have been. I've voted in three states: California, New York, and Colorado. Every state has different primary electiin rules.

In California, there were three ballots: one Republican, one Democrat, and one Other. Anyone not registered with a party could ask for any of those ballots. Dems got Dem ballots and Repubs got Repub ballots. Greens and Libertarians and such got Other.

In New York, it was the same, if I recall correctly.

In Colorado, there's just one ballot with all candidates listed, pick whoever you like.

 

What sour grapes? I'm ecstatic that sleepy Joe was able to discipline his rioters into wearing masks and had Trump's Chinese virus beaten soon as he won the presidency. Ata boy, Joe!

Biden had a very terrible case of stuttering. He worked hard as a kid to overcome it. It's still there, so sometimes when it sounds like he's searching for a word, it's because he's literally searching for how to say it without stuttering.

Ima dealing with your posts with half my brain tied behind my back, all is that they require. But let me rephrase, if the meaning of my post escaped you - watch the Chinese virus magically becoming a lot less important to MSM and to the Democrats. You would agree with that, would not you?

The main thing I get from this is inconsistency.
However it looks as if everybody with a Republican outlook can be 'Democrats' in a Primary and big up the person in the Democratic party that the Republicans think they can win against.
