Of course, back then, the Obama haters were all against government money for research, especially something so useless like a potential new vaccine technology. Remember Palin ranting about the follies of the government funding fruit fly research? Little did she know that Drosophila is the work horse of geneticists. You SHOULD thank Obama. His project, a $3.7M grant to Wuhan starting in 2014, created COVID-19 virus. Without him, COVID-19 wouldn't have been developed and ,,, you wouldn't need the vaccine.
