Exactly. This is nothing but a way to keep the lie alive, and to keep the base riled up over that lie. The right in this country has said for the last 20 years that the left was the party of "feelings", yet what we have seen in the last 4 years, and what is being exploited now with this "keep the lie alive audit" is that they are being played for their feelings. This is about playing to the emotion of the party, because facts have no place in this debate. And think about this, the Republican party in Arizona, those who currently are elected officials, are sponsoring an audit of the LEGAL vote of the state, and not allowing observers that THEY dont want. Its astounding that elected officials are using taxpayer dollars for this audit, and then not allowing both sides access......I mean, wasn't their big bitch during the election that their poll watchers weren't allowed in, yet when that was proven to be a lie, they now want to do that very same thing, and not allow anyone else to watch. Thats pretty much all we need to know about this audit is that they are ONLY going to pull out the problems, and not allow those to be vetted. This is a joke, and the american people see it for what it is. The only real problem is that it is being used to divide the nation even more. The Arizona Republicans are a joke......
Yes and no. I would say that it’s evidence there was no large scale fraud in Arizona. I would also say that it makes the likelihood of large scale fraud elsewhere minuscule. If I’m being honest I would still find it difficult to reconcile how someone with no ground game and little to no campaigning whose party didn’t knock on doors until 2 months before the election turned out millions of more people in the middle of a pandemic than Obama who had one of the strongest ground games, tireless campaigning and door knocking for 2+ years. With that being said, at that point there would be no grounds upon which to make the argument the vote was stolen.
The biggest reason is that there were 26 million more people in the country than in 2008. While he got more total votes, Biden got a smaller percent of the votes than Obama did. The 2nd reason is how much Trump was disliked. Trump choose to make the election a battle between Trump vs Not-Trump. This drove a turnout that was 5 percentage points higher than 2008 In 2008 there was not a universal dislike of either candidate. There was much less voting against someone than we have seen in the last two elections.
The only audit I would trust is one done jointly by both sides working together. Which is what the states themselves did.
I don't remember the left so concerned about cost when they spent 3 years and millions to prove Trump was actually a Russian plant. lol
Was that like the impeachment trial where Democrats were caught knowingly falsifying evidence and trying to use videos out of context? Shall we count the ways? 1. Democrats tried to claim Trump called Senator Mike Lee by accident during the riot when he really meant to speak to Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville to “make further objections” to Biden’s election vote count, Then Senator Lee confirmed it never happened. 2. Eric Swalwell used a photoshopped tweet in an attempt to add extra weight to a post Trump re-tweeted about supporters ‘fighting’ for the country. But he got caught and was forced by the court to withdraw his fake evidence. 3. Democrats quoted news articles about potential witnesses that they never called, either in the impeachment or the “trial.” Very curiously, they chose not to use direct evidence from these witnesses. 4. Democrats selectively edited footage of videos to make a false claim but when the entire unedited versions were played they got caught again. 5. Democrats had pointed to a Trump supporter’s tweet claiming she was bringing the cavalry with her suggesting warlike intentions at the Jan. 6 rally. House managers expressly led you to believe that the president wanted armed supporters at the Jan. 6 speech paramilitary groups, the cavalry, ready for physical combat when the person had, in fact, she said she was bringing the Calvary, a public display of Christ’s crucifixion, a central symbol of our Christian faith with her to the president’s speech. And you wonder why nobody but far leftist believe anything Democrats say? Laughable at best. And then you can't even imagine why the impeachment never got a conviction?
Let's be clear here. By "evidence", we mean specific cases. If they claim that a thousand dead people voted, I want the full list of dead people. If any of those are simply living people who share the same name, then the audit is bogus. I don't want to hear about "possible" illegal votes. If you claim a vote is illegal, be prepared to back up every single one.
The Republicans filed lawsuit after lawsuit to remove ballot boxes and stop the counting of ballots DURING THE ELECTION. Then they followed up with near 70 lawsuits challenging the results. But you think they will stop filing lawsuits after this bogus audit???
I have no problem with audits. At all. But I want to know that those responsible for conducting the audit is going to do a professional and unbiased job of it. What do you think would have happened if that reporter had not been in the room and pointed out their use of the wrong colored pens?
Hardly. Anyone who has done quality assurance knows you take samples from each batch to ensure uniform consistency. Heck it would have been productive and more efficient to look at a tiny county because in the words of republicans, the fraud was widespread and prevalent. So logically, fraud in a county of 3 million should exist in a county of 100,000.
Why would they go to Yav Country with a pop of 100K? No its stupid. You do the aduit where most of the pop lives. That is more likey where anything were to have happened.
No it isn't. Republicans said there was widespread fraud. If it's widespread, you will be able to find it in a town of 100,000.
My expectation is that there will not be enough envelopes with unique signatures that match the voter registration records to equal the number of mail-in ballots collected. And if there’s not, there’s a problem.
They had better prove that that ballot envelope was not signed by the voter then. Simply throwing away votes because of slight differences in signatures will not satisfy anyone if they were all legit voters. Are they going to go back 10 years to find a signature that looks different enough like Trump wanted them to?
Yes, luckily they were not dumb enough to claim any fraud in all of those lawsuits, even though they publicly claimed they found fraud.
Bush wasn't certified? Who knew....How then do you suppose he was inaugurated? This ought to be spellbinding.
You don’t need to prove every individual voter if there’s a large portion of them without matching valid signatures.
