Women are not some weird sub group of humanity always on the lookout for how to sell their bodies for profit

 

You may not realize it, but that's actually an argument for the value of an unborn human being, relative to those other things.
One of the big reasons insurance companies are not offering this is because they don't want to create incentives for a woman to kill her fetus. They don't want to be part of the cause of a fetus being unnecessarily killed.
The other reason is that all sorts of things can go wrong in a pregnancy and it can get very messy and complicated. Insurance fraud is also harder to prove. With something like a horse or boat, it has definite commercial value. To sabotage a boat for the insurance money, you have to give up the value of that boat. With a fetus, since its value does not derive from the potential of commercial sale, it's much harder to gauge how much the woman actually values it. If the woman doesn't value it (often the case), she could just kill it for the money, and not really have to sacrifice anything. Insurance companies don't generally grant policies with coverage in excess of what the commercial value of the covered thing is.

Insurance companies are not going to grant policies on small children either, for the same reason. Unless the child is an actor earning lots of money.
