    You can pick any situation and the left won’t know what side to take until they know the race, religion, gender, social status, immigration status or political leanings of the people involved. If they still have a problem deciding what side to take then they wait until Monday to hear how Joe, Mika and Maddow tell them what to think. Imagine what would have happened if the 1/6 protester was black and shot by an unnamed white cop while standing behind a door.

    I am talking about the exact same event. Planned online. Ignored by federal agencies and then allowed to stop the certification because the police refused to do their job.

    What would you have been saying? Would you have compared it to a Walgreens fire? Said they shouldn’t be prosecuted?

    Who is you guys? The world is not black and white, there are tons of grey. As for your whataboutisms, they don't equal or are relevant. The officers in the capitol were outnumbered, were tasked with protecting the elected officials and themselves while some crazed cranked up Trump supporter was trying to breach a locked area, with thousands of other cranked up Trump supporters behind her, to do what? I'd say that the officer did his duty and protected his wards. Get a grip on the division the flamebait posts sew.

    All of those you mentioned supported and advanced Trump’s “stop the steal” bullshit. That disqualifies them and all the rest of Trumpers from ever holding high office here in America. Hopefully many of them will be swept from office in 2022, 2024, 2026 and will be just a bad memory in years to come. The GOP needs to Detrumpify or disband.

    In that case and knowing there might be trouble that day why was there no riot gear distriibuted to the police?
