    yes, if they are a threat, did you think they could not, when one is part of a terrorist plot to overturn the election, and they are climbing through a door window that was barricaded and busted in to get to members of congress, yes, they can be shot... common sense

    I'm not saying he was wrong, we need to know the whole facts but what is appalling is how differently he's being treated compared to other police shootings. But yes, police can shoot unarmed people if the circumstances warrant it.

    Armed means being in possession of any weapon, not just a firearm.Weapons can include virtually any object used to threaten or cause harm.Those weapons included baseball bats, chemical sprays, fire extinguishers,metal flagpoles,etc.

    When you have to change the meaning of armed to fit your agenda, it means you agenda is fake. nobody was carrying fire extinguishers and if you find one person with a bat that doesn't mean EVERYONE. When you have to fall on exaggerations to make your point it only makes your point worthless

    Freedom of information matters. If a white man shoots an unarmed women in ANY case it is deemed racist. Here a "black man" shoots an unarmed white women,,,,,,,well, is that racist? See what that does to the left wing identity politics narrative?

    Are you suggesting your accompanying photograph is one of the shooter? It doesn't seem to match the person in the video of the shooting? And, Babbitt was breaking and entering. The Capitol police stood their ground, protecting the House chamber and its occupants from an angry mob.
    The first break-in occurred in the Senate, some 45 minutes prior to the Babbitt shooting. Trump was informed immediately and asked to call off his supporters and to tell them to leave the building. Had he done so, she might still be alive today. Instead, he waited until 4:15 PM before asking them to leave the building and go home. By that time, Babbitt was already dead.

    In my opinion the problem isn’t that someone breaking and entering was shot
    The problem is that if she was black, city streets would be on fire and they would be calling for this cops head
    If they treated democrat inspired riots the same, then this wouldn’t be so bad

    Yeah, but if she WAS black, it wouldn't have been a Democrat inspired riot. It would have still been January 6 as we know it, but a black person who was shot by police. Do you think that the left would have responded differently? I have my doubts!
