The CDC never said fully vaccinated are “super-spreaders”. Not my fault you believe everything written by your agenda drive sites.
I never claimed to have faith in the CDC or Fauci therefore you’re spreading more lies.

 

The CDC says "highly effective", not "more effective" (than what?), nor does it say "100% effective".

So there is no contradiction with the statement that vaccinated people can still pass on the virus, which is confirmed by the facts.

It would help you understand that if you put brains into gear when reading.

So quarantine the others...not the school kids. This isn't rocket science. BTW, some epidemiologists treat Covid prevention as some sort of rocket science they can't comprehend. Look, I'm not an epidemiologist but I seem to be able to apply basic logic to these Covid situations a whole lot more efficiently than epidemiologists who want to quarantine everyone. The Covid-sick with the non Covid-sick. The highly susceptible to Covid with the not so susceptible to Covid.

You know for example, with your advocation of school kids wearing masks and being quarantined if getting Covid you're in essence also advocating for everyone to have a mammogram even though only women by and large get breast cancer.

 

In post #44, we were talking about kids who got the virus; the epidemiologists say that they should be quarantined.

Your "bright" answer: quarantine the others. That's quite funny: you, if you get a transmittable disease, you should not quarantine, but everyone else around you should? Is that your rocket science logics? Absurd!

 

Only the highly susceptible to Covid will be chronically hospitalized and die. School kids aren't highly susceptible to Covid. The not so susceptible won't know they have Covid until they're tested. Common sense suggests quarantining the highly susceptible and leaving the not so susceptible alone. Epidemiology doesn't use common sense in it's prevention suggestions for Covid, IMO.

Unless you're testing everyone all day long, you will never know how many vaccinated people are spreading COVID. Nobody can answer this, but it's likely that many, many cases of COVID are being spread by vaccinated folks.

 

Why is there wrong-headed emphasis on number of cases when the emphasis should be on the chronically hospitalized and deaths?

For example, how many Florida school kids ended up in hospitals taking up space (and being added to the number of cases list) since they needed to be quarantined?

 

It's required for the unvaccinated in my state.

You’re required to stay away from large groups?
You’re required to wear a mask even outdoors?
What state are you in???

 

Quarantine for kids (or anyone else) who got infected is only necessary for a few days. You want to quarantine "highly susceptible" people who haven't got the virus, for an indefinite period of time? Until the pandemic is over maybe! Utter nonsense!

 

The CDC says a lot of things not backed by science.
