You're conflating a lot of different things. The unborn are human but until a certain point they are not a person, an individual. "Rights" are a political, legal question and the answer is no, they don't and the reason being what I just said. Both things can be true and are.

 

At one time, slavery was legal and they didn't have many rights, either. Glad we fixed that. Maybe we should fix this, too.

In some cases, not much because they allowed themselves to get pregnant without wanting a child. You know how easy it is NOT to get pregnant right? I had 2 and they were completely planned. One took longer than the next. But we were actively trying. When we were actively NOT trying, fairly basic precautions prevented unwanted pregnancy.

I wanted to reply to the other post Fox replied to, but this thread is too big to sift through. The one about how you planned your family.

That's admirable, but you should consider yourself lucky. This can easily be shown, which I'll just describe: Take the failure rate of all the contraceptives in use, and multiply that by how many people are having sex. Multiply that if you want a daily number. That's a whole lot of unwanted pregnancies.

 

And if the Father wants to keep it?
