Clear is useless when it's arbitrary. And it matters because the woman is a real person who can suffer. An embryo is not.

 

Using "common language(emotional )" as opposed to scientific factual language doesn't help you in a discussion on abortion.

 

Too bad - is the woman's choice whether or not to continue the pregnancy .. and thus the worman's sole responsibility to be responsible fo the consequences of her unilateral action - unless they both agree that the pregnancy be continued - in which case both are responsible.

Viability (or lack thereof) is really a bad argument for abortion. Lots of people are dependent upon others and we don't go around shooting them dead, either.

There is always a failure rate, but if someone really doesn't want to become pregnant there are multiple steps that can be taken to decrease the odds. It ain't sexy, but hey, don't do the deed if you don't like the consequences and PAY UP if you do it. Like I said, abort away. Don't need MORE unwanted babies. What we need are more responsible, educated people who want children or at least 2 or more. The last thing we need are poor people popping out babies like kittens=)

I don't know if you are aware but there is a "Declaration of Human Rights" and they don't address abortion or pre birth life forms. Article 3 says everyone has a right to life yet it does not refer to pre birth.
So what is your proof of these "human rights".

The law is the law. You are the one begging the question of what it should be.

Thanks to this precedent and the court's inaction other more liberal states could pass laws to make people get vaccinated and wear a mask letting the public sue them for $10k if caught breaking the law. Legalized vigilantism.
