We can always rely on the left to top the last crock of bovine excrement with a bigger one. You are so busy with the hate of all things not in your pond that you miss things like the Biden Group (puppet and puppeteers) promoting the firing of health care people during a pandemic, police during a crime wave, ending cash bail so more criminals walk free, inviting hundreds of thousands of illegals to come in which makes him guilty of many federal crimes, and now- offering to pay "reparations" of up to $450,000.00 per person to families arrested for illegal border entry whose families were separated.

How is it possible for any healthy person to become so obsessed with hate for a leader who's personality they dislike, that they ignore their own leader who is promoting crime and racism, attacking freedom and human rights and destroying the economy? HOW do you manage that?

Obviously, you have not made the offense of looking into Hunter Biden, the "presidents" son. No, that would cause even a hard-boiled Trump hater puke. Of course you know that, but.... say nothing.
That's how this mess was created- people discarding their capacity for balanced judgement and letting their petty emotions take over their brains.

Superb post. I wish I could write so well.

With respect to emotions taking over people's brains - that is the life blood of the democrat party, and I have been say that since liberals invaded the Junior High School I was in, in the 1970's. America has slid non-stop into deeper and deeper intellectual mediocrity ever since.

Did I ever claim they made shirts? I said they had fund raisers about it, paraded the victims family members around, and politicized it. Why aren’t they doing it with this victims family?

It has. And what is baffling to the older Americans is the diminishing human motivation to excel, to master not only a craft but to master self- to know who you are, what your purpose will be; what is often called self-actualization. This is the pursuit of happiness, which is a need of every human being. The foundation of this is self-esteem, which can only be earned from yourself; there is no way to gift that to anyone. Without it- a person always feels incomplete and doubts themselves. Instead of building that self-esteem, they focus on blaming others for what they lack, blaming systems outside themselves like politics, religions, down to the fundamental values of family. I don't think they ever ask if they have failed themselves. failed society or those around them, but they are certain society and others have failed them. To believe that, one also has to believe in entitlement- the concept that because you are here, somebody else is supposed to provide a situation and life that you are comfortable with. If you believe anything like that, you have abdicated the power over your own life, and it will never happen.

This is an extremely difficult thing to change from the outside. You can provide a person with a kind of road map to finding themselves and regaining that power- but you can't make them follow it. They suffer from what might be called corrupt basic programming, a mindset that prevents seeing beyond the place they are at. While they want life to be better, they also insist the solution fit neatly into what they already believe- but it is what they already believe that stands in the way of everything they want. The old saying "You can't get there from here" applies. If you can't leave the place you are at- you're not ever going to arrive somewhere else. This is a kind of human weakness that has always existed, but the current ideology promotes feeding it over improving it. Self-destruction of a society, unwilling to ask it's own to stand up and be responsible for themselves. I never thought I would live so long to see anything like this, nor my children or grandchildren.

My opinion - the explosion of single parent families that lack a functional strong father figure that will kick their sissy son's ass and tell him to get a job loading trucks, or framing homes, or join the Marine Corp, instead of waiting tables...

Touche. The role models our children see make a huge difference in their capacity, their ability to become adults... strong men and women. The "nuclear family", which some attack today, produces children with a solid foundation. Destroy that, and they have nothing.

See words above for attack on Jr over selling shirts.
Suppose Don Jr was guilty of killing a woman?

One might assume that Jr is running out of money..........and has to resort to selling T shirts that display his poor taste and bias.

Its a free country......he can do as he pleases in this regard. Maybe someone can do a T shirt for the victim........so we don't get sidetracked from the fact a life was lost.

If the circumstances were reversed Baldwin would be first in line to make some smug smarmy comment. I give him no break on this, he’s a vile disgusting man.

I wonder if this experience will have an effect on his character....which most seem t o think of unfavorably. Will he learn anything about himself.??

I heard this week on the news that America abandoned at a minimum 450 Americans when Biden fled the Taliban.

    from the movie: "Team America".

    The *** Way
    • Alec Baldwin: By following the rules of the Film Actor’s Guild, the world can become a better place; that handles dangerous people with talk, and reasoning; that, is the *** way. One day you’ll all look at the world us actors created and say, “wow, good going ***. You really made the world a better place, didntcha, ***?”

The quote seems somehow so prescient. This is the smug that pollutes the world today.

All Jr did was create a shirt to wear with a message the buyer wants to put out there.
Baldwin is the last person to get any mercy for killing the woman and also shooting the director.

His first inclination was "RUN" far away, to Vermont I'm told. Somehow the lesson you describe seems lost on Alec. He obviously will blame others. His first action when handed a gun should have been to ensure the weapon was clear. He didn't Hi smug cost a woman her life.

If you handed me a weapon on a set, I would unload and clear it immediately. Am I special? Of course not. It was negligence, not a mistake.
See above. A pro with weapons around would make sure safety measures were in place.
I wouldn't know because I don't pay attention to what he says. What in the heck does he know about the subject?
    I wouldn't be too concerned.

If he knew what he was doing, he would have unloaded and cleared the gun. She would almost certainly be alive today given she was 42. I doubt he knew anything would come of his actions.

Somebody told him it was a cold gun. Apparently, he trusted their assessment. It's the armorer's job to ensure gun safety, and given Baldwin was told the gun was safe - whoever originally assessed the gun was safe (should be armorer) is most at fault. That said, I think there's some blame for everybody in the chain involved with the gun. Baldwin should check the gun anyway, and there's the question of whether he should have known there was negligence in general by his staff, but I definitely get him not checking it - there's a lot to do and it's not his job. I think he could lose a civil case, but I don't think a criminal case would stick from what I know so far.

Funny how it is Baldwin the angry actor who kills a woman and has plenty of his Democrats brethren running cover for him.
Had it been say a Republican actor, he would be damned by Baldwin all day long. Baldwin calls out the safety teacher premier in America, the NRA.
