Which Christian denominations have we got here?

There are a few believers left, but many such sites have been reducing their rolls and hits because todays Christian apologists are just not doing good work.

It will get worse as modernization and smarter children continue to choose more moral venues and the god religions continue to shrink.

Because I do not like what I perceive as deception and lies.

There is no general Christian.

You swing from left to loony right.

Some believe in the supernatural, while the intelligent do not.

Calling yourself Christian means nothing, other than showing how immoral you are, if you plan on using Jesus as your scapegoat.

That would be evil. Right?

Oops a moral question that makes me lose so many interlocutors and moral cowards.

There are Catholics on the other forums, but like me, they were probably attacked when they tried to say something positive about their Church.
Once I made a thread and said for Christians only and again they popped up. Ignore them, they're not worth your bother.

But insulted in such a way that one wonders how that much meanness is possible.

 

Of course you were, but if you see yourself as a "Christian" I wanted you to know you are in good company.

In the USA we have religious liberty and free speech. Not to mention free will, consciences, intellects, and doctrines of salvation. Satan hates it all, and he hates us. But mostly he hates God the Father, Jesus Christ, and all who dwell in heaven. Personally I'm more concerned with what God thinks of me than what anybody else thinks of me. What do you think about that?

But I also know that the right of free speech ends when it turns to libel.

 

It would be a lot easier to defend Catholic followers if the leaders of the Catholic church would not cover up those priests who sexually abuse. This is very similar to that of the FLDS abusing women and girls. Why would you want to defend an religion/denomination that actively covers up such abuses? I'm certainly willing to presume favorably of a denomination if the leaders will condemn such abuse even if an individual congregation of theirs tries to cover it up.

Welcome to a public forum. Unless the mods make the rule that only Christians can post in that forum, then you have no say in it. This is besides the fact that just because they don't agree with you, it does not mean they are not a Christian. You and I have been at odds on many points, religiously or otherwise. Yet we are both Christians. So even if such a rule was enforced, I could post in every one of your "for Christians only" threads and be legitimate even if I disagreed with you on every point.

 

Given how much insult and attack that Christians (not intended to indicate all Christians) heap upon the LBGT, Poly, BDSM, gamer, and so many other communities, is it really a wonder that these communities strike back? Not to mention the attacks of Christians against other Christians with the claim that the other group aren't "True Christians"tm. Look at the behavior of WBC. When biker gangs stand up to them more than other churches do, it's very telling.

 

Too many people think that free speech gives them the right to insult and attack others, that way they can stop them from using their own right to free speech.

It's possible because they are not Christians. What I noticed lately is that those who are the most hateful and cruel, always perceive themselves as being victims.

But because others maybe do - so you think that Non-Christians have the right now to attack me personally in the most tasteless und violent and revolting way?

Btw: I do not strike back, but put those violent types on IGNO.
I am a peaceful person and just want to write in peace, without insulting anybody.

Is that my personal fault that some church leaders do that - or did that in the past?
I am a critical Catholic and have always spoken out strongly against such abuse.
But nevertheless I am attacked violently - for the simple reason that I have said that I am a Catholic.
So am I held personally responsible for the inquisition and the crusades etc etc?

That is true across the board. But standards and sub standards are two different things. And an exercise in vanity lends God no glory, but is the path to hell. One is not beholden to praise falsehoods.

In general, I like and respect the Atheists on this forum. They are more inquisitive and intelligent than rude and petty, imo. They play their cards close to their vest and are prudent with their trust or to that into which they might invest their trust and so minimize the risk of being misled and plundered. They are rational when they say that God neither shows himself nor speaks to them. In this they neither lie nor deceive. They logically dismiss creation via the science which predates the matter. Not to mention the discovery of fossils and bones which suggest the evolution of man. Atheists are practical. Atheists, as do Christians and all people, possess a higher nature of conscience and love. So in that, they are nearer to the Christ of Christianity than to the worship of Satan which many err in their estimation of Atheists to be. When one considers that in Christianity, there is one Jesus Christ, one gospel, and one straight and narrow. But that there are forty thousand different Christians denominations betwixt Atheists and the truth, as it were a solar eclipse. One cannot blame them for yawning in boredom at the matter. We hide God from them and then accuse them of not seeing. This is one reason they occasionally push back with ridicule against Christians. It is a simple matter of self defense, of bringing order from chaos to their universe, of establishing and keeping what they know in remembrance, and hollowing out as it were a den of sanctuary in the madness of the surround. The fairy tale of Christianity is to them real because it is what they face in life. I would offer to them that they keep the slimmest hope alive, that there is something more. And guard it with their might, as it is the path to salvation. The true God will know us and leave no room for doubt.

 

Bowing is acceptable, too. When I am serving the body and blood it is also permissible for communicants to stand as far as I am concerned.

 

It will all end in WWIII. Germany should be careful and not enter the war, because according to the Greek Saints, every nation that enters that war, will be destroyed.
