"Who paid for that? You can't afford that" ;-( What on Earth is wrong with these people? Why would anybody do this? Do they need to start adding Valium to the water supply? WTH? What do you think?
This has nothing to do with politics. This is just one of literally thousands of Karen video on TikTok. If you enjoyed these just download the app and you can watch endless hours of Karen videos. You can get young Karens, old Karens, white Karens, brown Karens, any flavor of Karen you want.
Lol, nailed it. The bigots and self identified victims have been empowered. That lady's perceived misery DEMANDS company.
Of course you could be right - it might be a symptom of the “victimisation of the white right” that Faux and Tucker have been selling
https://www.pleacher.com/mp/puzzles/mgames/polrbear.html This is all that googles up when I type in a query Is this another Tucker .Carlson faux outrage thing?
Of course it is. They are told everyday that they are victims of ethnic minorities, the left, other religions that is become a vicious cycle that now has to be constantly reinforced. Personal responsibility and minding your own business is now defunct. Blame someone else, double down on it and be empowered to now victimized others. It's the way people get radicalized and become mindless zealots. They also become much easier to manipulate or knee jerk.
I found that video hilarious. The old lady was funny for sure and it was also funny that someone would be so weak to actually cry over such a stupid tantrum from an old person. More people need to get thicker skin
Of course you would deny it. Do you require some video examples of people being assaulted out of the blue? Those are very easy to produce. Let me guess those are false flag actors paid by Tucker Carlson ? I suppose you've also never heard of The knockout game? It goes beyond just being a Karen in public and blacks assault random white people for no reason https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=polar bear hunting
I've been called racial slurs at work on several occasions for no good reason.... Just because someone didn't get the answer they were looking for. Maybe next time I should get it all on video and go run to the internet and cry? Or maybe sue for a couple of million. Work in customer service for a while and you'll see the ugly come out of people quick. That being said of course the lady was clearly in the wrong. She's an ass wipe
I doubt that. I think she's just old and cranky, and society no longer seems to think that civility and good manners are of any importance. I'm old, too, and at times it seems so unfair (youth is wasted on the young, IMO), but scolding strangers for something that has nothing to do with you can't possibly make you feel better.
I'm not terribly old just a bit over 40.... A child of the '80s. And you are correct people are very rude. People always come in the store and say give me this or give me that. Please and thank you never seem to even enter their mind. When I go into a store I hold the door for whoever may be behind me and if someone holds it for me I say thank you and when I ask for a product I say please and thank you. The importance of common courtesy is apparently lost on far too many in our world today
This lack of courtesy in our world seems epidemic and I do mean across the board in general. Everyday looking at the world around me it seems to be a toss-up between what's lacking the most common courtesy or common sense? Both are kind of the same thing in the end.... Common Sense tells you don't be an asshat to people for no reason. Not only is it rude and impolite but you never know what sort of reaction you will Garner. I was raised to respect other people but above and beyond that as far as my capacity and customer service goes I feel like I owe every customer a polite interaction... And I especially owe my employer that because I don't want anyone leaving feeling like I did them wrong. If I was the boss and one of my employees was rude to a customer for no Good reason their ass would be shown the door in a hurry. The world we are living in is far far too narcissistic and self-absorbed and egotistical. People think only for themselves and don't consider others for a moment. It's no wonder things like incidents of road rage and similar are on the rise.
I signed up for an online class year. My instructor was 0-80 in a split second. Drove me bonkers. I thought I would just endure it because I liked the subject and wanted to learn more to advance my skills. Right after New Years she sent me a scathing email chewing me out for writing "Thanks for the feedback" when she graded my lessons. She complained that she has 30 emails in her inbox and just does not need me cluttering it up by saying "thanks". I'm thinking "You're bent out of shape because I have manners?" The crazy part to me is that between all my daily responsibilities, I get about 10,000 emails per week. I have them organized to sort and archive correctly and cull the list to what needs to be prioritized and ranked. Granted, I'm a much calmer personality than she is so I would never just snap at somebody just like I wouldn't have done what the woman in the OP did. I may not be able to help, but I try not to harm.
Just think, if your teacher had just let you know, in a kindly manner, that she appreciated your thanks but there was no need to send an email as she already has too many, you would have appreciated that she was respectful about it and stopped sending her thank you emails.
