Or, they are used to your incessant bitching and moaning. I'm certain none of them read that as send him to Death Row.
So, you defend this witch, tried to claim it was about politicizing, acted self-righteous with your fake "elder abuse" rhetoric and said that it's not okay to diagnose someone from a video.
It'a politics as people lost civil restraint well before Trump set foot in the Oval Office. I dunno what else to say outside of saying "Trumpism" ISN'T political when it's never been anything BUT that on this forum - *shrugs* I wasn't mad (or even annoyed) at you at all, heck I like your posts even if I don't agree with them much. It's just that MJ's post is demonstrably wrong.
I beg to differ. Even the Tea Party movement never embraced crazy to anywhere the same degree as the whole MAGA movement has. The only conclusion I have been able to latch onto that makes sense is that this is the death knell of a generation of white people who see the end of their status in a multicultural America.
Well, I am just going by what a real doctor said: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dallasnews.com/news/politics/2021/06/18/putin-vouches-for-biden-as-trumps-ex-doctor-rep-ronny-jackson-demands-cognitive-test-alleges-dementia/?outputType= Biden has dementia is even a song: https://open.spotify.com/track/1K6I1YGIgWj79wgWzZXFnT And perhaps it is all the t-shirts: ....now that your ad hom attack attempts have failed perhaps you can explain why you think violence against the elderly is so funny?
I kind of pity them. I can't begin to conceptualize what it's like to be so angry and hateful all the time. It's exhausting reading that <censoring myself>. Living it must be a nightmare. I have been through traumas I can't even share as it would traumatize people. My ex kidnapping our children was my Kryptonite and almost killed me but I'm even surviving that. I find a reason to smile and be kind to others all the time. I would jump off the first cliff I came across if I didn't practice gratitude every day. Have you ever read the Desiderata?
The lady is old. I see parents like her - well, probably great grandparents - like her all the time. Sometimes parent-teacher conferences get amusing because of them. We'll have back-to-school night coming soon, there's always a few of them that arrive and I'm sure I'll have stories to share in the Community sub-forum here when it occurs. We had one that once arrived barefoot once which puzzled every third-grade teacher there. There was another one that spoke in a Scottish accent whenever she was stressed. I guess I'm saying really old people sometimes can be a bit enigmatic when it comes to their beliefs. Y'know, If you're gonna go there - you talk about others adding hate but you liked a deleted post that was deleted for a reason and called another poster worthless. Methinks thou doth protest too much. If you say you practice gratitude, the very people you despise would need it the most and it would be beneficial to you as well. You want change, you gotta be the change. Or just keep doing what you're doing and expect NO change. Maybe you prefer it that way, I dunno.
In a funny way, it kinda circles back to the OP itself. I mean, the woman was crying and upset by what this Octegenerian was saying but while I was listening to her I immediately had a wisecrack ready for every one of the things she said because the only real response to people like that is to make fun of them, laugh at them, and basically channel your inner Class Clown - people like this old-timer can't handle that well. My wife heard the last half of the video where I was saying my jokes out loud and started cracking up herself. I guess I've had practice doing this when you have teenagers acting out. I mean geez - when you have someone talking like that the LAST thing you do is show sadness or fear, they just go on the attack more, like sharks smelling blood in the water. In fact, I'm kinda wondering if the lady was maybe acting out crying because she was trying to make the oldster feel guilty because it's just so obvious to anyone older than 11 that you never sell the verbal attack. I kinda vacillate on what to do when you have people who constantly point the finger at others like that lady or posters online. Too many people fail to see that what they despise in others is actually their own behavior and it's become a form of self-hatred to hate others. It seems nowadays people lack introspection. But if you walk in somewhere saying you refuse to talk to people you disagree with then you've basically decided to live in a bubble and stunt your own social, idealogical, and intellectual growth - and somewhere along the way this woman went in that direction.
What violence? The women's target never exhibited any violence. Far from it. It was the elderly woman who was violent. I like it so some guy in a bar going on and on about some issue. Shrug it off . There are some rude people . Big deal. Happily she isn't representative of à majority.
