Of course. The best resources are given to those who can best utilize them. The field is presented and we chose the best. There is no "wider field."

Why don't we give more resources to those who NEED them more? Resources aren't really scarce nowadays. Geniuses often tend to appear unintelligent at first because they are already so far beyond everyone else but they can be ferreted out if more attention is given to them. History is replete with examples of this; Einstein is just the first that springs to mind.

Continue reading the wiki article at that link and you'll see that he was not badly treated by anyone, really -- except many years later, long after he had won a Nobel Prize, when the Nazis alienated him because he had been born Jewish. At present, they aren't powerful enough to take over all the means of production and distribution of everything in the United States (real Socialism), but they consistently gain strength in nearly every election, mostly by pandering for support from a despondent lower-class of 'underachievers' who willingly trades their votes in return for government 'social programs', subsidies, and other forms of handout welfare....

What is unfair about giving everyone the exact same tests for entrance? Or are you making the racist statement that black people have to be give breaks because they can't other wise compete academically with Caucasians otherwise? Or maybe that the schools black kids are forced into by the teachers unions are indeed failing them?

 

No one is advocating a return to slavery or discrimination and to suggest that is simply an act of provocation. No one likes prejudice in any form. But we did like it better when people respected the views of others and didn't try to silence them on media. We did like it when there were no "flash mobs" looting stores. We did like it when one's religious beliefs were a private matter, not a source of scorn and derision. We liked it when parents, not the state were the primary authority in raising our kids. We liked it when we secured our own borders. We liked it when there was dignity in government, not a sexually confused Admiral in the Health Service or a young male in heels and makeup in an Undersecretary position.

No, my friend, this has NOTHING to do with a return to slavery or apartheid. It has to do with a return to dignity and decency.

Yes, you're right. And it's because all these radical, hyperliberal Left factions believe essentially and fundamentally the same things, and project very similar ideologies. I think I may have actually described what 'woke' in contemporary America society is, fairly well, in my Post #131 above. But, @AARguy did a masterful job of describing what the rest of us want for our country in his Post #141, instead of any more of this insidious, America-hating 'woke' nonsense.

Unfortunately, the far-Left has no real grasp on REALITY. They think that every slacker and bum should have the right to mooch a free living off of American taxpayers... probably because a lot of the far-Left are 'slackers' and 'bums'....
