What is the standard for being a real Repub these days? Besides turning a blind eye to the voluminous evidence of Trump's orchestrated attack on our democracy.

My standard is anyone more devoted to their personal vendettas instead of working for who they were elected to represent has lost the right to be called a Republican. Those that just voted for the monstrosity of the Omnibus bill would fall short of my standard. Unsurprisingly two of them that voted with the Democrats also sit on the 1/6 kangaroo court.

Of which other than lies, distortions, and innuendo there is nothing. Oh I'm sure it'll give neocons and other leftist and administrative state acolytes more reasons to hate Trump not that they need any after all he render them little more than an academic study in futility. But then he couldn't have done it with out them and their all to obvious disdain for their own base.

No one is fabricating evidence. Evidence is all that matters. Evidence is neither democrat nor republican.

I mean, it's like your logic is 'only a republican can do a valid report.

Noting that there are republicans in the committee.

    Vice Chair is a Republican.

1200 interviews of individuals who are mostly REPUBLICANS many TRUMP staff and entourage

And whose fault is that? McCarthy withdrew all of his committee appointees.

This is not a court of law, where there are advocates.

the objective is to find the truth. Truth has nothing to do with 'right or left'.

Trump refused to testify, as did a number of his surrogates.

The hard core Trumpers who did honor their subpoenas, ALL of them took the 5th. They have plenty of opportunity to defend Trump and they were only thinking of themselves.

But, that appears to be the norm in Trump world.

After McCarthy himself was kept from serving on the committee.

The committee was formed with the intention of finding Trump guilty for political purposes rather than find the truth. purposes.
Then don't pretend that this has anything to do with guilt or innocense.

Let's get something straight. The first protocol was to establish a committee in the Senate, and what happened? Repubs in the senate filibustered it.

Now then, Pelosi decides to go the 'special committee' route, which gives her the right to approve of all appointees. Which means all McCarthy had to do
was select three more, adding to the two she already approved. But, like a petulant child, he withdrew them all. My gut feeling is that he intentionally selected
Jordan knowing in advance that Pelosi would reject him, and he could then use that as an excuse to pull them all.

Blame Senate Repubs and McCarthy, but not the committee and/or Pelosi. That is, if you are interested in the fair and just, though that doesn't seem to be the case..
Final work product is all that matters, so if there is any untruthful testimony and emails and texts from the over 1100 persons interviewed the vast majority of whom are republicans, feel free to challenge them as well as any conclusions drawn from those testimonies and documents.

Blanket rejections will be summarily dismissed as lacking substance.
In the court of public opinion, we are so entitled.

But he should not have been rejected. That already shows the democrats wanted to pack the committee in their favor

Jordan spent his entire time in congress as a loud mouthed antagonist that would have disrupted an serious work by the committee. He was specifically chosen for that purpose.

Pelosi rejected him for good reason, McCarthy should have, could have chosen a moe reasonable replacement.

Jordan's a jackass who would do nothing but turn the investigation into a circus.
All he had to do was find 3 more serious repubs. It's not rocket science.

If you got a problem with that, then tell McConnell he shouldn't have filibustered the Senate committee resolution, and then we wouldn't be having this discussion.
Having an opinion has nothing to do with fairness.

You mean like the democrats who turned the investigation into a circus?
Having both sides adequately represented does.

The select committee went out of their way, to an extreme, to keep their investigation above board and professional.

They did everything in their power to represent tRaitor tRumps “side” fairly and were rebuffed with refusals to appear and predictable invocations of the 5th.
