Yes, Critical Race Theory Is Being Taught in Schools
    https://www.city-journal.org › yes-critical-race-theory-i...

Oct 20, 2022 — Educators following these curricula are said to be teaching students that racial disparities in socioeconomic outcomes are fundamentally the ...

". . . While only scratching the surface of what will feature in the full report, our findings have several important takeaways.

First, the claim that CRT and gender ideology are not being taught or promoted in America’s pre-college public schools is grossly misleading. More than nine in ten of our respondents reported some form of school exposure to at least some CRT-related and critical gender concepts, with the average respondent reporting being taught in class or hearing about from an adult at school more than half of the eight concepts we measured. Eight in ten reported being taught in class at least one concept central to CRT and contemporary left-wing racial ideology, with the average respondent reporting being taught two of the five we listed. A majority were taught radical gender ideas. Given the sheer size of these numbers, the promotion and teaching of “white privilege” and “systemic racism” in America’s public schools can hardly be regarded as a rare or isolated phenomenon. It is the experience of a sizeable share of pre-college students.

Second, educators are presenting CSJ ideas to students uncritically. If such concepts were presented only as perspectives—and in conjunction with competing others—then their introduction into the classroom could very well be defensible. But our data suggest that this is not the case. Instead, most are receiving them as undisputed “facts”—or at least facts only disputed by bigots and ignoramuses. This is indoctrination, and governments should act swiftly to put a stop to it. More-detailed policy recommendations must await the full report. But schools and teachers that wish to teach about these concepts should be given the option of either teaching the diversity of thought surrounding them or being barred from teaching them altogether.

Third, such biased instruction is effective. Our data show that those who report being taught CRT-related concepts are not only more likely to endorse them but are also more likely to blame white people for racial inequality, to essentialize white people as “racist,” and to support “equity-oriented” race-based policies. Among whites, we also observe higher levels of white guilt among those exposed to more CRT-related concepts.

Overall, then, our data would appear to confirm many of the fears of anti-CRT activists about such instruction. Anecdotes are borne out by our representative large-scale data."

2 ppl writing their opinion doesn't make it CRT.

I gave you what CRT is and how its defined.
But again, if people want to bastardize the intent of CRT, and they are as your opinion piece shows, they can call anything they want as CRT.
But that does nothing to have an honest discussion about it.

    ...
Basic tenets of critical race theory
According to the legal scholars Richard Delgado (one of the founders of CRT) and Jean Stefancic there are several general propositions regarding race and racism that many critical race theorists would accept, despite the considerable variation of belief among members of the movement. These propositions constitute a set of “basic tenets” of CRT.

Looks to me like you're the one citing "2 ppl writing their opinion." On the other hand . . . .

". . . Publicly funded schools that teach and pass off left-wing racial-ideological theories and concepts as if they are undisputed factual knowledge—or that impart tendentiously curated readings of history—are therefore engaging in indoctrination, not education. The question before us, then, is not whether or to what extent public schools are assigning the works of Richard Delgado, Kimberlé Crenshaw, and other critical race theorists. It is whether schools are uncritically promoting a left-wing racial ideology.

To answer this and other related questions, we commissioned a study on a nationally representative sample of 1,505 18- to 20-year-old Americans—a demographic that has yet to graduate from, or only recently graduated from, high school. A complete Manhattan Institute report of all the findings from this study will be published in the coming months; what follows is a preview of some of them. Our analysis here focuses mainly on the results for the sample overall rather than for various subgroups. . . . "

    No, the citation was yours.
The only thing I cited, 2X, was from Britannica. Which mostly cites the definitions of CRT as was founded in 1989.
What is being passed of as being taught in schools is nonsense. Made up stuff and claiming it to be CRT.

This whole thread has shown by several people that CRT is not in public primary or 2ndary schools. There's been perhaps a few rogue teachers who tried to do some against policy teachings. But there's no curriculum by school districts or boards.

Nope. You're the one who cited two people. From your #2052: "According to the legal scholars Richard Delgado (one of the founders of CRT) and Jean Stefancic . . . "

Meanwhile, I cited a study based on data from 1,505 people.

". . . As an educator who has written about the penetration of CRT into Australian schools, I have been shocked by how misleading and uninformed many of these articles are. It is of course true that CRT as an academic legal theory is generally taught only in higher education, but it is also clear to anyone familiar with CRT that its core tenets are being taught to children in many of America’s K–12 schools—and taught as if those tenets were facts. Examples include the ideas of systemic racism, white privilege, white fragility and the predatory white imagination, as well as the notions that all white people (including white children) are inherently and irredeemably oppressors of black people, that all black people should recognize that they are fundamentally victims—and that pervasive racism is a permanent, ineradicable characteristic of American society. Confusingly, many of the articles that claim CRT is not being taught to children also blithely affirm that these concepts are being taught—sometimes even asserting, incorrectly, that they are not CRT tenets.

The confusion in these articles has presumably resulted partly from how people are defining the term CRT. Some people are using it to refer only to the full academic legal theory, while others are using it as shorthand for the elements of that theory that are being taught to children as facts. Another source of confusion is that many journalists—and even many teachers—are simply unaware that the concepts being taught are CRT tenets—and that they have been introduced into K–12 education by CRT scholars who specialise in teacher training (so-called CRT educators). . . . Those 2 people founded what CRT was when they started the theory.
Others have been trying to change what the intent of the theory was/is about.

It's a theory, not a class or subject to be taught. A theory is like a philosophy.

Show where it's taught. Not some persons opinion that it is taught.

No respectable teacher is teaching kids that, "systemic racism, white privilege, white fragility and the predatory white imagination, as well as the notions that all white people (including white children) are inherently and irredeemably oppressors of black people,"

No one in this entire thread has shown that to be a core teaching curriculum.

". . . . CRT did start out as a legal theory that was only taught in higher education, but it began to be developed into a theory for use by K–12 schoolteachers more than 25 years ago, with the 1995 publication of a landmark essay by two critical race theorists who were professors of education at the University of Wisconsin, Gloria Ladson-Billings and William Tate—titled “Toward a Critical Race Theory of Education.” The final section of their essay makes clear that, for critical race theorists, the purpose of scholarship is political change: “We align our scholarship and activism with the words of Marcus Garvey who believed that the black man was universally oppressed on racial grounds.” The essay also makes clear that these theorists saw education as an ideological battlefield: they conclude with Garvey’s famous admonition, “In a world of wolves one should go armed.”

These ideas soon caught on with other professors of education. As early as 2001, the CRT scholars Richard Delgado and Jean Stefancic wrote, “Today, many in the field of education consider themselves critical race theorists who use CRT’s ideas to understand issues of school discipline and hierarchy, tracking, controversies over curriculum and history, and IQ and achievement testing.” And that was just the start. A whole range of other identity-based critical theory fields soon sprang up in the field of education—such as LatCrit, DisCrit, QueerCrit and AsianCrit—though these offshoots are rarely mentioned in the mainstream media.

By 2018, CRT ideas had become so widespread within the field of teacher training that Gloria Ladson-Billings and others were able to compile a four-volume set, Critical Race Theory in Education, which was promoted as a “mini-library” (and priced at $1,785 US). It contains 82 scholarly articles on how CRT can be applied to education, many of which discuss how it can be applied in US primary and secondary school systems. An example is Ladson-Billing’s article titled “From the Achievement Gap to the Education Debt: Understanding Achievement in U.S. Schools,” which posits that black and Latino academic underachievement is part of “the education debt that we owe racialized youth as a result of decades of legal, economic, educational, and social oppression.” (So great are the historical injustices against students of colour, according to Ladson-Billings, that she repeatedly compares it to the national debt and regards addressing the situation as “a task for Sisyphus.”) One of the four volumes is devoted entirely to the topic of “White Supremacy and Whiteness.” It includes Robin DiAngelo’s 2011 essay, “White Fragility” (a precursor to her 2018 book of the same name) and a subsection called “Deconstructing Whiteness: Solidarity, White Allies and Race Traitors.”. . . ."

No one, including you can show where it's being taught.
A best you did here, was show it could be taught.

can be applied. can be applied.
Anything can be applied in schools. Doesn't mean it is.

    You are in denial.
". . . Most media coverage of CRT in education has been about whether it is being taught in schools. This is a red herring: of course it is. The discipline has been around for a quarter of century; it has produced hundreds of books and papers (many of them directed at how to approach K–12 education); Gloria Ladson-Billings alone—as the founder of the movement for CRT in education—has over 75,000 academic citations; and Henry Giroux, known as the father of critical-theory pedagogy, has over 130,000. The important question today is not whether it is being taught in schools, but whether it should be."

The NEA is pushing for CRT in the classroom.

NEA to Promote Critical Race Theory in Schools | City Journal
    https://www.city-journal.org › nea-to-promote-critical-r...

Jul 15, 2021 — The nation's largest teachers' union pledges to bring CRT to a public school near you.

On June 30, members of the National Education Association, the nation’s largest teachers’ union, voted to approve a plan to promote critical race theory in all 50 states. Union delegates representing 3 million public school employees approved funding for three separate items related to “increasing the implementation” of “critical race theory” in K-12 curricula; promoting critical race theory in 14,000 local school districts; and attacking opponents of critical race theory, including parent organizations and conservative research centers.

The public vote represents a significant strategic pivot. For the past month, many liberal pundits and activists have insisted that critical race theory is not taught in K-12 schools. This was always a bad-faith claim; the ideology has made inroads in public schools for more than a decade. But the NEA’s official endorsement puts the final nail in the coffin of this rhetorical dodge. . . .

If I were in denial, I would be denying your actual post where it is specifically being taught as part of some curriculum or syllabus.
    Which you have not shown.

All you've shown is it could be taught. I don't even deny it could be taught.
So, I am not sure what you think I am denying.

I am not denying it, you nor anyone else has proven it. Sure, out of 4M teachers, a few have gone off the rails. But there's not policy, curriculum, or syllabus.
If there was, you'd be posting them.
