History is very relevant to this discussion fyi, as much as naysayers like to sweep it under the rug. NATO and USA has a long history of arming terrorist organisations (Azov battalion). Divide and conquer.

 

The US wants to control all of Europe. The US is in no position to achieve their wants and needs. A superpower needs more resources to stay on top. What we are witnessing is a dying superpower in desperation. Really sad to see but nothing ever stays the same. Americans will survive but it will be a very rough road ahead. Most of us have been living pretty large for a very long time at the expense of third world countries. That is changing.

In order for the parallel to be correct, both indian and Ukrainian territory would have to be part of a sovereign nation. Since Russia guaranteed the territorial sovereignty of the Ukraine when they got their nukes back, that satisfies the recognition of the Ukraine by Russia and the territorial integrity issue.
