It's likely, that dam was broken by water pressure, because Russian authorities didn't give a **** about maintenance. Ignorance and incompetence are common in so called Russian world and always was. And in putins regime only worse of the kind get to offices.

You have a bad memory. Ukraine cut the water supply to Crimea in 2014. By the way, Baltic states are much more famous for fascists. Do you support parades they do in Latvia?

. The timing of dam’s destruction is ultra suspicious therefore casts a high negative on your “theory”.

It shows your occupiers are not confident that they can hold that land indefinitely. They did it now because the counteroffensive is getting started and it mucks up the entire area both upstream and downstream from the dam, delaying any potential movement over water in that region. What do your occupiers care if they drown some Ukrainian settlements? They have been destroying one city after another with artillery and such throughout this war, even those they mean to capture.

You can see why this gray zone **** works so well for Russia. Instead of everyone condemning them for what they've done, everyone is arguing over who done it. They get the strategic benefit without much of the blowback this way.

I wonder what horror the occupiers will visit on Ukraine and blame on them next? Will it be another dam or will they go for the nuclear plant?

And the Mafiosi was about to lose that....so by flooding everything it temporarily stalls everything...like a RuZZki scorched earth policy.

The dumb $hit orcs probably never thought the damage would be greater than initially intended.

Cry-me-ans can soon ...probably....count on water that looks like guck coming from their taps, shower heads, regular boil water advisories, rationed laundry days, etc.:)

Maybe the nuclear plant....they've come this far as to blow the dam....NPP is a real possibility.....that's a double edged sword too....the Mafiosi will get directly affected also.

    But...stupid is...is stupid is.

Disaster Upon Disaster: Flood Deepens Misery in Ukraine War Zone

Andrew E. Kramer and Maria Varenikova
Thu, June 8, 2023 at 6:49 AM CDT

KHERSON, Ukraine — Oleksiy Kolesnik waded ashore and stood, trembling, on dry land for the first time in hours, rescued Wednesday morning after spending the predawn sitting on top of a cabinet in his flooded living room.

“The water came really quickly,” said Kolesnik, who was so weak he had to be helped out of a rubber boat by two rescue workers. “It happened so fast.”

Fetid, coffee-colored floodwaters, with plastic bags and bits of straw swirling in the eddies, lapped at streets in Kherson, a regional capital in southern Ukraine, where rescuers had evacuated a neighborhood cut off by inundated streets. Exhausted residents spilled out of the rubber boats, carrying at most a purse or a backpack, and sometimes a cat or a dog.

    ... https://news.yahoo.com/disaster-upon-disaster-flood-deepens-114930408.html

And as the icing on the cake, they have to deal with having the perpetrators blaming them for it instead of at least claiming responsibility. Russian naZis are actually worse than the German Nazis of last century.

There are plenty of crossing points, and the Russians on that side of the river are DEAD. Killed by their own MOD. The defenses? The mines? Blown by the weight of the water.
As to russians with thermals and NVGs: Lol. LMAO.

It's 50:50 on who did it if deliberate. The Russians if they feared an immediate advance by Ukrainians. The Ukrainians if they want to have an easier advance once the water runs away taking with it buildings, defensive posts and mines. The water won't take long to run off at this time of year

It's not 50/50 at all. It's also not very likely to have been an accident due to how it failed, and the Ukrainians could not have done that kind of damage to it while it was under Russian control. Check out the video I posted above.

I presume you mean the guy? Unfortunately for him, he clearly made the video before it was shown that the dam was breached 4 days before the catastrophic failure.

There is no significant strategic advantage in flooding those remote areas so I call the above propaganda. The Ukrainian army would not need to travel over those areas to get to Crimea or Maripoul area

Scorched earth policy by the Mafiosi....cause as much damage as possible....so it's uninhabitable, unusable, etc.

    Also....for future aggression purposes also.

Maybe, but those areas are farm fields that will be back in use within a few months and are at this moment in time under Russian control and have been since near the start of the war. In England many of our fields look like those fields in the photos after just a period of rainfall. The crop may or may not survive. My small garden sometimes looks like the left hand photo in your link and there are no dams anywhere near lol
