And if you are on private property where it is reasonable to assume that even if you have a right to be there other property owners who do not know you may ask you if indeed you do have a right to do so.

The Constitution protects private property and the rights of those property owners.

What is the political part here and how would you even know the political affiliations of the people involved?

So if you belong to a property owners associations and you pay HOA dues, currently mine are $60 a month, to maintain the common areas and you are at the pool and you see some people entering by other means than a card or key it would be fascist for you to ask if they live there and have a right to be swimming there?

The man never answered the question to my knowledge. Instead, it was the "how dare you question a man of the black cloth" attitude.

Fact is, a bad attitude changes the tone of everything- invariably for the worse. And it's not an equally distributed human condition; it's more common in various ideological groups and cultures.

The lady was conscientious, contrite, pleasant and polite. The fisher simply blew her off. So she called the Police as that was all she could do. Why would you see evil in the lady? I don't know why he wasn't arrested. I wasn't there.

As a property owner it IS her business if a stranger is using the PRIVATE PROPERTY just as much it is your business if someone sets up camp on your front lawn. Again why didn't this guy just introduce himself and be nice about it and agree it's a good thing they DO make sure ANYONE fishing there has a right to do so.

Then again I addressed someone who uses a handle on this forum that is a racially derogatory word. I personally am not woke but it speaks loudly to me as a minority. There is a time and a place for such words and their context is the key. I am not someone who wants to censor people especially comedians or social commentators but in this specific case his handle to me says a lot. I know we should not make personal comments and I am not but the handle itself is all part and parcel of how some people view such words and the context they can be used in.

To me it is all in the tone. On this forum sometimes the tone or humour can be misunderstood I concede but Matt I have read plenty of sanitized racist crap in my day on forums that smiles as it engages in veiled step and fetch it concepts.
