I am a registered Republican who strongly supports capitalism, freedom and “choice” in the first trimester. I support honesty in government and oppose those who take bribes. I support civil rights, but oppose race hustlers who use race as a way to make money and derive power from division.

Someone in this thread said 100 black people were shot yesterday.

They are trying to undermine this incident because it was a white guy who killed 3 people and there were more deaths across the entire country than this guy committed.

 

I truly believe that billions of people on this planet would prefer to live among their own kind in an ethnostate. If we did that here our quality of sports would go down as well as the Mexican food.

With race being blamed on everything in this country, to the political pandering, to the accusations of white supremacy, to reparations, to harsh prison sentences, etc, the left could make an ethnostate sound very attractive to some people.

 

I bet it's sooner than the trans school shooter's manifesto comes out, despite that crime being, what, 8 months old more or less at this point?

But to the actual topic, it's a horrific crime no matter the motivation, and I'm glad he's dead. The world is just a wee bit better because of that.

"Doing it right deserves the spotlight". Right here is the CRUX of the issue. The fixation whenever such an event happens. 'OMG, A Racist shooting happened. We have to talk about his name, his motive, who he is, etc'. For a loser like him, this is the closest to popularity that he's ever going to get. And I wouldn't doubt for a moment that the intentional suicide was part of it, because now he doesn't have to face justice. He can die knowing he killed his preferred targets.

When the media(and by extension, Democrats) stop thinking they're shining a light on this stuff, the true motivation= paux popularity disappears.

Yea, that’s all technically true but this incident isn’t the first of its kind, even this year and that’s extremely problematic because honestly it’s only a matter of time before it happens again.

 

So um…..anyway…..we’re all still (mostly) in agreement that this guy who’s thankfully dead after shooting 3 people was taking his white supremacy to the next level, right?

 

OK I will put you down as believing that is the only possibility for his actions. And why are so many on the left so invested in demanding that we believe there could be no other motivations?

Yes, and it's extremely problematic but it's also the result of a greater problem: To inherently be pro or anti-anything, the logical chain of thought goes you must be anti or pro-the other thing as well. That is, to counter White Supremacy by simply going 'We condemn White Supremacy' or any of these other messages not only doesn't send the message, it defeats its own point.

It's not about being for or against white supremacy, but instead spreading a message of love towards everyone. Every American has to see him or herself as a part of the American Fabric and the community. And its up to our leaders to promote that message.(ideally, it's also promoted locally)

If it's not promoted locally or nationally, then you'll get groups like the KKK but also the Black Panthers. No one was ever assassinated for speaking hate speech, but people have been assassinated for speaking love(MLK). That's how much more powerful love is. Love is so powerful that those antagonistic groups feel the need to push back, and the stronger the love, the weaker these groups are.
