Yep. Luckily, I'm colorblind. I've never actually seen a real rainbow. The light is too faint for me to be able to see the colors. I obviously would have divorced my wife for a dude the moment we had a spring shower and I turned my eyes to the horizon.

Is that what it takes? That's your standard? That's braindead. I know the school I went to had a "no gays" policy for dances. Pretty sure they still do. I know I was bullied for even being perceived as a "sissy," even facing physical attacks. "Crossdressing" wasn't allowed even at Halloween (this is still the case in my high school). My HS now places warning stickers on all books in the library that even remotely support gay kids. And, of course, the guy in your profile pic would love to see those books outright banned.

 

If you are gonna be stupid enough to assume that no pride flags means gay people are not welcome. That's on you.

No one said otherwise. You can personally not accept LGBTQ kids. And a teacher can announce that those same kids ARE welcome in their classroom and that they will not tolerate any student that bullies those kids.

 

Why should pride flags not be allowed? And, no, no pride flags does not mean that gay people are not welcome. BANNING pride flags is a different story. Please take some time to think critically: there is a difference between simply NOT FLYING a flag and BANNING a flag. A child can understand this.
