It's just that allowing someone to leave isn't much of an effort. What country doesn't allow foreigners to leave their country? I've been to nearly 100 countries and I've never been refused to leave.

Sure, they will go in, kill a bunch of people (mostly HAMAS) and then get out. Maybe not immediately, but they aren't going to stay. That was a mess last time. So was occupying parts of Beiruit. Prolonged urban guerilla war on your enemy's home turf is a good way to get your soldiers dead. I didn't say they wouldn't fight, just that they wouldn't stay.

Israel will find an alternative to long or even medium term physical occupation unless it is of some small strategic areas. Not really sure how that would work, but that is the most they would do and those areas would be 'cleared'.

I have never been a big U.S Israel lobby guy.... But the **** Hamas pulled is so atrocious I don't care. Go in and destroy every last member of Hamas and Hezbollah in Israel.
