What if Israel is being baited into this war, first in Gaza to have its soldiers and equipment worn down as much as possible by these alarmingly well trained and equipped Hamas militants, and perhaps later by other militants invading from elsewhere? This one could very easily end up drawing us in. Israel is a small country that can only withstand so much. It lacks the territory to have very much defense in depth and its accordingly small population can only produce so many troops.

I think Iran and Russia have some grand designs behind all of this.

 

I don't think Russia has any grand design but I do believe they are opportunists who know a good thing when they see it and are fully able to exploit it. The only thing Iran has is a willingness to play with the big boys and lend a hand, taking any credit they manage to pick up along the way. More power to both of them.

As Putler cozies up to Iran and Syria, as well as every other authoritarian regime in the neighborhood, it becomes clearer and clearer that Putler is no friend to Israel. He would rather make nice with their enemies and supply them with arms, even if indirectly via Iran, and use the carnage that he has helped enable to attack the US and our credibility. It's all a game to him. A game to see us and our allies driven out of the region, and to see every democratic government and alliance that stands in his way brought to its knees.

First, the language of this website, is ENGLISH. Therefore, the responsibility to translate any any evidential exhibit, which is not in English, falls upon its presenter. So my not having understood what the video's speaker had said, is not a fault, on my part-- killing your preceding argument, about my "not listening to the speaker in the video." Nor does this do anything for your failed allegation prior to this, about my offering an insufficient rebutting debate argument (because you had failed to quote the rest of my rebuttal).


Second, regarding your translation: the fact that someone says something, is not "proof" of its veracity. Are you effing kidding? If I make a video of pieces of fruit, spread out on my kitchen table, and say "these fruits are from Ukraine," or "from Mars," for that matter-- it is in no way "proof" of my contention.

Third and lastly, if I for argument's sake, accept the anonymous person's word that not only is he an Hamas fighter, but also that the few weapons he displayed, had come to him by way of Ukraine-- that would not be the same as, for any practical purposes, saying that Hamas fighters, overall, were fighting with American weapons, meant for a Ukraine. The cache of weapons shown was too small, to have much significance (as I had said in that earlier rebuttal, you'd failed to quote). Again, this is even assuming they had come from Ukraine, and that he was an Hamas fighter, in Gaza (neither of which, is proven by the video).

If that had been your point, my first reaction, is to wonder what the hell that has to do with this video-- remember, the subject of your argument? The sourcing of the weapons?
