I can't decipher your last sentence. God did inspire the words of the prophets (holy men of God).

Whose gospel of repentance did Jesus teach, his or God the Father? Whose words did Isaiah speak, his or God the Fathers? Jesus Christ laid down his life because the law said he must, and his Father said he must. Same with all his Apostles and John the Baptist. So too did the LDS Church lay down the practice of polygamy for the preservation of the Church in obedience to the law and to God. Your prideful reasoning regarding the LDS Church is your sin, not the LDS Church's. And you are not the God or judge of it, regardless that you pass judgment anyway.

You really don't know anything about the movement of Continents on tektonic plates floating on the Magma in the earths centre? The collision of continents which causes seabeds to rise out of the oceans and continue to rise into mountains? Thus seabed fossils on top of mountains. Most mountain ranges are formed in this way over millions of years. The Himalayas were formed by the collision of the Indian continent moving north and colliding with the Asian continent. And it is still happening today. Science can, and does measure the movement. Australia is slowly moving north. The US is moving toward Europe and the African continent is pushing against Europe. Japans earthquakes/tsunamis are caused by underwater continents colliding with Japan and nearby coasts.
If you really believe Noahs flood then I suggest you read about Hydrology and gravity. And yes there is a 'mantle' of water above the earth. It comes from the oceans and water on the earth. In simple proven terms MOISTURE is drawn from the oceans by heat - like steam from a kettle. Thus the oceans imperceptibly shrink. When it reaches the cooler atmosphere it forms drops and clouds. When conditions are right gravity takes the rain to earth. Some permeates the soil. the rest falls on land and makes its way back by gravity to the lowest point - the oceans - which imperceptibly rise again. However, as this is a cyclical movement the ocean remains the same. There is certainly much water under the ground, but have you ever seen it rise. Gravity prevents this. That's why we have pumps to raise it. Springs are simply water from higher ground which may be a long way away. Geysers are hot water forced up by heat from the mantle. Noahs mountain covering flood is impossible.
Longer life spans are simply due to the different numbering systems used by different civilisation from ancient times.
Belief in the Bible would be admirable if science hadn't shown us differently. Studying the Bible alone is like believing in Alice in Wonderland without knowing the story behind it.

No such thing as prophecy. Most of Bible prophecy was written at the time or later. In some cases ot was astute men who could sum up a situtation and warn of the consequences of certain actions. Isaiah did well in seeing what would happen if Israel 'signed a contract' with Egypt. They were already subject to Babylonia who were not going to allow this. Iaiahs warning came true. Ditto Jeremiah. The northern tribes were never going to defeat Assyria. Ignoring Jeremiahs warning they lost out big.
In the UK of the 1930's we had a politician who could see what Hitler was up to and warned us. We ignored him, and look what happened. I have no doubt you also have prophesied. When a friend has told you his intentions to do something and you have seen problems he hasn't, or has ignored, and warned him. He has gone ahead and you have been proven right.
There's no prophecy concerning Jesus for instance. It is all Christian misinterpretaion of the OT to benefit the story of Jesus.

You're trying to cram too much into your response. Your second paragraph is an entire different topic.

Jesus, the Messiah, is the "Red Thread" of the OT. In every book you'll find something relevant to the coming Messiah. It will look cryptic, but if you have a rounded understanding of the OT as a whole, you'll see it.

The Messiah in the OT is the Jewish idea of a Messiah. A human who will lead his people to victory. Orthodox Jews still believe this. That's why Jesus is not mentioned at all. I've studied the OT both from a Christian viewpoint and a Jewish viewpoint. And if you study the NT and the time in which it was written events like the Nativity stories are simply not true. Study them against the time. They are absolutely impossible for the time they were written. If you study the teachings of Jesus - a Jew - he preaches mainly the OT. The gospel writers throw in a few ideas to present him in a different light. There's not a mention or prophecy of Jesus in the OT.
I appreciate that the Bible is presented to you as Gods word. That you can't accept anything different is up to you.

Jesus and the Father are one and the same. Jesus humbled Himself and became a man.

Of course I am not the judge. That does not prohibit me from posing questions. Why does Joseph Smith and his LDS hear from god that Polygamy is actually a virtue to be practiced, then the Church decides to prohibit it to save the Church. Isn't that your god's job?

Why do you spend so much time and effort to disprove it? Can we at least hear your beliefs? What is the purpose of mankind? What must we obtain in this life? Why do we love or contemplate death?

Well the firmament covered the "whole earth". It was put there by God at Creation. Water was pushed up from the deep as well as falling from the firmament. We returned to dryland because the earth reabsorbed it. I have seen water rise from the deep. I have seen Old Faithful. It does happen but I wasn't around when God made these cataclysmic events and neither were you. You embrace scientific theory through faith. Why are you so intent with debunking mine?

When you see the Messiah represented in the OT militaristically it's referring to the period after his second coming. Revelation speaks of his coming with his angels and saints to battle with the rulers of darkness. Nothing written prior to it should be confused with end time events. Revelation is part of the judgement Administration. The sixth one. We live in the fifth Administration of Grace where Jesus' role is different.

The same reason you spend propagating it. You BELIEVE it is true. I KNOW it is not. You refuse to study outside the Bible in case I am right and your faith is questioned. Faith is not necessarily truth. You may have faith in your physician because of his training/knowledge and yet die of some disease not diagnosed.
My 'beliefs' are simply. I evolved - without going into details of evolution. I have the instinct to procreate as do all animals - though within human restraints - for the continuation of the species. I also believe I should help those who are in need, not for personal gain but for 'humanity's sake. I am against religion of any kind for the trouble it brings to the world. I do not believe in any god who would allow so many different religions to contradict each other. Or a god who would create a universe 13bn years ago, an earth 4 bn. years before creating a creature so fallible as to turn on him. Any creature/god could have done so at the wave of his hand. I shall pass from this world as do all creatures. I am satisfied. I do not need to be remembered except by those I have helped simply that they may follow my example.

The OT is concerning the Jews and no-one else. Where on earth your get your idea from I don't know. And Revelation is nothing to do with the future. It uses OT Jewish scriptures and simply adds Jesus as a concession to Johns beliefs. It is really a tirade against the actions and rule of the Roman empire - written in Hebrew picture language from the OT. Rome of the time is the Harlot. And looking at Rome of the time it is appropriate for the morals etc of Rome. It's written in a language |Jesus used in his parables when speaking to his disciples. Most of his parables relate to the OT belief of the Jewish relationship with Jahweh. The Good Shepherd, the Vine etc are all in this vein.
If you were an Orthodox or practising Jew you would still be waiting for their Messiah who would be preceded by Elijah. Well he hasn't come yet so you would place an extra cup of wine at the Passover Seder in case Elijah turned up. It's called Elijahs Cup.
The interpretation of Revelations is simply down to what you want to believe. As I said before, John simply, as a Jew, took OT scriptures.
Jesus was simply a Jewish preacher. Nothing in the Bible convinces me differently. The Nativity stories are made up, most of Jesus teachings are from the OT. He practised Jewish beliefs - Baptism for repentance and a fanciful story of Jesus testing - or temptation as Christian call it. Interestingly Matthew wasn't there. Neither was anyone else. Satan in the Jewish belief was a servant of God given the task of testing mens faith. Matthew simply elaborated and Christianity turned Satan into Gods enemy. Jesus died for making enemies of the Jewish Sanhedrin by exposing their hypocrisy.

Aren't you "interpreting" the Book of Revelation?
More of your interpretation of Scriptures.

We're just going to have to agree to disagree about our interpretations.

As a cancer survivor of 9 years, I listen to the physicians I trust, but more importantly I depend on God and the mission He would have me accomplish in this world. Some physicians and some scientists do that as well much to your chagrin.

Yes, You are correct in stating them as "your beliefs". You needn't go into "details of evolution" because they are only "your beliefs" that require faith in an unproved system of "chance".

If you do what you say, and I don't doubt it, you do it as a source of "pride" generated from yourself, and deny the existence of a benevolent Creator that instilled a sense of conscious within you. All good works come from God, my own faith says, regardless of their intent. You just deny the source.

You do not believe in God who loved you and gave you a choice. He has left you to your own devise to stew in your pride and do and say what is convenient in your "beliefs". You seem to say "I will live out my life here on earth and because of choice, I will take my toys and go home. taking my dirtnap when it is time because all is meaningless!

In your own beliefs you suppose you could do better? Maybe it is how you define love and cannot comprehend the "real thing". Why 15 billion years that you cannot substantiate? Why doesn't your faith allow you to go to a billion trillion? When there is nothing finite except your demise, you are unlimited!
You say you have the ability to procreate. Then you go on to say "within human restraints". I marvel at the idea that "human restraints" that differentiate us from animals come from evolution and the pride you display as coming from yourself.
My faith tells me it is instilled by an Intelligent Designer that has far more knowledge than I will ever comprehend! You have faith to believe what you believe. It definitely is your faith so go with it!

You believe in the Bible. I have shown you that the Bible has errors and challenge you to prove otherwise. I have shown the Nativity stories in the Bible to be wrong and contradictory yet all you do is ignore it and stick to your 'faith'. I believe it w2as you who called my post rubbish. I asked you then WHY? I ask you again Why? How

I never called your post rubbish. I acknowledge it as your belief. Here's a contradiction of evolution you can either answer or adhere to your faith. Show me proof how any species has evolved into another species. Now my Bible states they were each created specific according to their own kind. DNA shows that.

Near death experiencer Kevin Zadai Th. D. was shown that Messiah Yeshua - Jesus... while being tempted in the events of Matthew chapter four... could remember having CREATED former Covering Cherub Helel............ who had rebelled against Him....... but...... He figured out a way to factor Satan's Rebellion into a massive Interactive Reality Film Series where all of US ARE STARS... and the Life Review of near death experience accounts... is evidence....... that all of this will eventually form the greatest LIBRARY in the universe... multiverse!!!!!

AT the time that Jesus created former Covering Cherub Helel... He went by the name The Word - Logos.... the Eldest of the fourteen Elohim...... the Seven Spirits of YHWH.... but they are TWINS a male and a female pair just like Cain and Luluwa.... and Abel and Aklia.... of The Book of Adam and Eve.......

They don't say 'always'. Many die out. Others that remain continue to evolve over large periods of time.

And you have time on your side! I have watched scientists add multiple billions of years to their theories over the years. They will never run out of years, but the "odds makers" never favor the side of CHANCE! A single cell developing over time into so much as a complex eyeball, let alone a complex human being! That given and then cells that multiply by dividing "evolving" into male and female that must have "relationship" to reproduce! How many millions of years will it take to make 2+2=5???? It just doesn't happen. And, as you stated earlier, we reproduce instinctively but we consider "human restraint". Those are your words and it fascinates me. I see "human restraint" as a matter of conscious. That is nothing that evolved from a single cell by chance. That is something that was installed in every human being and it is his/her option to ignore. Those things don't come about as "chance".

The earth has had 4 billion years in which to develop. How many trillion chances have come about in that time. You may reject the science but that is up to you.
We reproduce instinctively but human restraint is built into us. Some choose to ignore it but many ancient religions recognise the fact. Science and Justice acknowledge the fact.

A single male cell - a sperm - connects with a female cell - egg. They form one single cell. This contains all the necessary chromosomes from the male and female egg. The sperm has the Paternal genetic makeup and the egg has the Maternal genetic makeup. These fuse into one cell which then divides into two and so on. So male and female cells contain information descended from the male and female - over millions of years.
Lets leave the subject as you obviously don't believe the science that has itself evolved over hundreds of years.
