And again, if that doesn't happen? If he doesn't stop? How many more need to die before everyone sits down at the negotiating table? What's your number? 500,000? 1,000,000? Every man, woman and child?
'Putler needs to leave' isn't an answer.

Barbarossa was chiefly an invasion of 5 countries(6 if you count the continuation war): Germany, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Hungary and Romania.
And by all accounts, if Hitler pulled a Napoleon, instead of being Hitler several other Soviet client states could have defected.

It was the greatest national security threat the Russians have ever faced. And any potential that NATO could replicate that, under a different name is the main reason for the current dispute.

Ok, that's true of every army in the history of mankind, including most of our own. They join to get money for college and for the massive benefits like health care, pensions, etc. That doesn't make them not human.

You are still avoiding the question. How many more should be sent to die before we decide it is time to negotiate? If another 500,000 Ukrainians die, should they seek a peace treaty? 1,000,000? Should NATO sacrifice 1,000,000 soldiers? At what point do we say "Yeah, this has gone too far?"

I've already answered that....is Putler ready to sacrifice Russias existence ?.....thats where it's headed.

Why would Nato sacrifice 1 million?....

I don't think Russia is going anywhere, and Ukraine is unable to drive them out, especially since support is drying up. The writing is on the wall. It would be a greater tragedy than it already is if hundreds of thousands more are sent into the meatgrinder on both sides. Absolutely senseless.

I don't like Putin in the least, and I condemn his invasion.
I'm more interested in NOT killing hundreds of thousands more on both sides in a bloody stalemate.

Allow me to answer since they won't: When the first missile touches down on Brussels. See, a huge problem with these proxy wars and states is that basically, it 'allows' for the power nations to avoid fighting while sending smaller states(like Ukraine) to die on their behalf. It's why Macron could poster. He said NATO forces, not French ones. He's not dumb, if French infrastructure is damaged by the war then so is any chances of a re-election or a favorable French parliament.

Similarly, it's impossible to consider but imagine a hypothetical where we lose air superiority and attacks, actual attacks rain down on US cities. I think we'd see a step up in diplomacy then(and no, I do not want this. I hate the idea of it). But it's easy to be a warhawk when you don't have skin in the game.

If the war is brought to our Western shores, we'd have difficult decisions to make.

So the answer is to let the person who has absolutely no qualms at all about throwing away human life...the leader of the Russian Kleptocracy...a mafia boss....the answer is to give him want he wants? And then what....there you go Mr. Putin you have what want ....you stop all this nasty killing and don't do it again!!!

Do you really think this guy will stop at that......

So, your solution is fight to the death, no chance of diplomacy? That's just stupid, and condemns hundreds of thousands to die.
This war is going to end in negotiation that neither side is going to be happy with, but can live with. The question is how many hundreds of thousands to millions will die before that happens?
Russia is WAY too entrenched for Ukraine to ever hope to take all of that land back, especially when support is drying up quickly. We are back to WW1 style fighting. Heavy entrenchment, little ground gained on either side. It is just the height of stupidity to prolong it.

Why yes, another 500K, million......the MIC and the scum politicians that profit from the MIC and these foreign adventures do not care how many die, just as long as they get richer.

They knew what would likely happen after they facilitated the 2014 Coup. And they knew with 100% certainty what would happen when they started training and arming ****ing nazis on Russia's border.

Ok...that doesn't tell me anything. How is Ukraine going to take back the land occupied by Russia with the immense amount of fortification he has in place? Without overwhelming manpower and firepower, there is no way Ukraine retakes that territory. Ukraine has neither.

"The long-awaited counteroffensive last year failed. Russia has recaptured Avdiivka, its biggest war gain in nine months. President Volodymyr Zelensky has been forced to quietly acknowledge the new military reality. The Biden Administration’s strategy is now to sustain Ukrainian defense until after the U.S. presidential elections, in the hope of wearing down Russian forces in a long war of attrition."

Lol, uhhh...ok. Trying to change the subject?
Oh, don't worry, our politicians and their MIC friends LOVE selling guns and having people get killed. They'll sell you just enough to ensure the war keeps going, but not enough to win. Then, many years from now, when all of Ukraine's youth are dead and gone, they'll negotiate a peace deal, and look for the next conflict that they can make trillions on. They're ****ing vampires.

I don't support what they do. Some say that makes me unpatriotic or some such nonsense. But, luckily, I don't give a ****. I've seen firsthand that kind of stupid ****ing wars we get involved in. So you go ahead and have fun with your senseless slaughter, but don't say I didn't warn you.
